.... and I'm a disaholic. It all started innocently enough, I'd booked another two week holiday in 'the world' and thought I'd just have a scout around on t'internet to see if there were any tips or info I was missing out on. I'd bought Simons guide (I know, I know, the start of a slippery slope!) and picked up on this website. I lurked for a few months gathering info - how much didn't I know??? there seemed to be no end of useful stuff. It wasn't long before I hit a few buttons and what do you know? I was registered!
I asked a couple of questions, innocently and naively I feel they may have been about pool hopping and refillable mugs - don't laugh, it was all with utmost innocence, How was I to know that 14 months and over 3100 posts later I'd crease up at the thought of asking such stupid things?
Low and behold I got replies - within minutes, what? there are REAL people out there? how odd! I discovered the UK forums, this was when the real problem started, there were people, I mean REAL people who were also doing this! I even started to recognise a few regulars. They were chatting away about all kinds of things, they even seemed really nice! yes, its that old line of 'I want to do what they're doing' ha ha, I know there are many of you who'll be rolling your eyes
and thinking, 'that sounds familiar'. you too will suffer withdrawal symptons when your pc needs changing and you can't log on for a few days, wait and see!
Anyway it wasn't long before I asked a couple more things and guess what? 'they' answered! now I'm fourteen months down the line and I can't seem to help myself logging on every morning.
But I can stop anytine I want to, yes, I really can! just as soon as I've posted my opinion on that debate on the US comm board......
