Our grandchildren tell us we seriously need a 12 step program. We drug our 16 YO DGS to 6 McDs Saturday on a hunt to obtain all the CARS. How many happy meals can one 16 YO eat??

You can buy the happy meal toys individually, without having to purchase a happy meal. That's how I got Doc Horton I just want Guido and Luigi!!

My name is doombuggy and I have been addicted to Disney since I was a little girl. It's so bad, I moved here. Yes folks, i made that 1000+ mile move from Phila just in time for 3 hurricanes! My 10th anniversary with the Co is in September.

Hi I am Kelly and I am also a Disneyaholic. I agree with you that my obsession is getting worse with age. No one else can even understand it thus I am so glad to be part of these boards and others such as Mouseplanet and Laughingplace where there are others like me!

As a child I did not even go until I was 8 but back then even living in Northern CA it was a HUGE deal to go. (moneywise). I went back off an on until adulthood but still not NEARLY enough and although I enjoyed it I did not become obsessed till I had kids of my own.

I took my 1st daughter when she was just 10 months old and I was pg with my 2nd and then we waited till they were a little older and took our first trip to DW when my oldest was 2 and my youngest was 1. We have since been back to Disneyland every single year and in 04 went 4 times!! We have also been back to DW this past Oct and have another trip planned for Nov of 08. We JUST got back from Disneyland this past Saturday and I am ALREADY having withdrawls. But alas I bought an annual pass this time and am going to get my money's worth. We are going again in November and then in February and again next June of 07.

There is NOTHING wrong with loving all things Disney and it is my personal goal to go to ALL of the Disney parks at least once in my life as well as a Disney Cruise and if I have my way evenutally I would like to be a DVC owner!!

I wish I lived closer to the parks! The "happiest place on earth" would be right at my door step and I could go there as much as I please! My boyfriend might get jealous though because Mickey would be my 2nd boyfriend!

Hi, my name is Eryn. Im a Disneyholic. I havent always been obssessed with Disneyland. It just happened when I wasnt looking. My family is in CA and AZ so as a child we visited a few times. It was fun but it never really left an impression on me. But then came that day in May 2001. I had just gotten out of a relationship and a single girlfriend of mine suggested we go away. Hey, Disneyland was fun as a kid, lets go there, I said, unknowing that those words would change the course of my life forever. We went, it was fun. So fun I said to my family, we should go, my daughter would love it. So oct 02 we were off. I was the only one who knew of DCA so I became a guide. It was were I felt I belonged. When we got home I knew I had to go back. I started searching the internet for Disneyland information. I needed to fill a void that was consuming my life. I found many different boards that curbed my craving for a while but werent enogh. It was happening again. I neede to be back, my life wasnt worth anything if I wasnt planning a trip to DL so I started. Then one day in March of 04 my neighbor mentioned over tea that they were all driving to DL for spring break! OH MY! How do I subtly slip into the conversation that Im planning a trip also and would be able to save so much money if we went with them? Well, 4 days later we were in the caravan of 10 people. (this has been my fav one yet!) And then the original Dec 04 trip with my sister still works out! I spend as much time on the computer looking at hotels and rides and food at DL that my daughter starts pretending to be Mickey Mouse to get me to talk to her! My mind turns into a fog whenever i jump in the car and Fantasmic comes on. I sing yo ho yo ho in the line up at the grocery. My family is getting worried. I have to go again! So march 06 creeps up and ive convinced more friends that they need to go, thier life depends on it! And they do! Its only been 3 months since Ive walked down Main Street but Im starting to plan the next trip in my head and it looks to be soon. I cant stay away!
I think I have found a cure though! I am starting school in the fall and im going to sell people Disneyland vacations! If I can spend my days planning and actually get paid for it, Im gonna do that! And hopefully soon I'll be able to curb my addiction by going every few months instead of every few years!

(sorry its so long! I hope youve enjoyed it though. It really has helped me get through this one really bad craving)
