Hi everyone!
I'm new to the Disboards and new to WISH.

This is exactly what I am looking for. Just this morning I thought, "I need a support system to help me stay on track with exercising!" I looked on the boards and came across this!! So here I am!! :cool1:

My goal is to exercise everyday for atleast a half hour. I'll be doing it at home with exercise tapes, treadmill and just moving more! I'd like to eat better and just be healthier. I want to loose some inches off my legs and hips. I'd like to loose 25 pounds total. I'd like to just feel better and not tired all the time! I always feel better inside and out when I exercise!

Aspen - welcome to WISH! Boy have you found the right place for encouragement and support! There is a January exercise challenge you might want to consider joining. I don't post often to the actual thread because I get lazy and this month I'm in charge of my own challenge but I do keep track in my signature of how much exercise I get on a daily basis. The goal for the exercise challenge is 1000 minutes for the month which is about 30 minutes per day and it sounds right up your alley!

Thanks for the great welcomes!! I appreciate it! I started yesterday and I've done really well so far! I exercised 30 minutes yesterday afternoon while the kids took quiet time. This morning I got up early and did a 20 minute pilates workout! Yeah! I even gave up soda, as of yesterday! A very hard task for me! I'll probably walk on the treadmill today some. My treadmill is the kind where you have to make it go by itself, so it's really hard to do! If I say I only did 4 minutes, 2 - 2 minute intervals, it may seem like not much, but if you've ever walked on one of these kind of treadmills you'd know 4 minutes is a killer! haha
