Hi everyone. I am Jennifer and I have been lurking here on the Dis board for a long time. I decided to come out and say hi. :wave:

I began my own personal "challenge about a week ago. I want to lose about 60 pounds total. I have lost a lot of weight in the past and unfortunately because of stress I put it back on. :(

Hopefully by getting as much support as possible and working with others with a common goal I will not only lose it again, but keep it off.
 
Welcome, Jennifer! You will find no better place to be while you are WISHing your way to success. I have been coming here since August and there is no way I could have kept on plan without the support of all my WISH buddies. We are so glad you are here, and hope that you will post often. Hi Jennifer! Glad to hear you are no longer "lurking." As you probably already know, this is a great place to be. Folks here are the BEST and you can get all of the support you need. "Talking" is a good step in the right direction. Good luck in your journey.

Remember it is your choice and you are worth it!

Thanks. :) I guess you could say I am following the "Jennifer plan". :lol: I am not following any of the popular diets. I am watching what I eat.. that means total calories, fat, portion control and excersizing every day.

It has always worked for me in the past.. until I stopped and went back to my old habits. This is my third time and I do NOT want to slip again. But they always say..third time is a charm right? ;)
 
Welcome to WISH! Sounds like you and I use the same eating plan. I'm just trying to eat healthy, watch the calories, keep my fat intake low. It works for me.

Hope to see you 'round WISH a lot! It's a great gang here!
 
Hi Jennifer and WELCOME!:wave2: I joined WISH about a week ago, looking for help in maintaing my weight loss--in the last 15 years, I have gained and lost over 800 pounds:scared1: and refuse to put myself through all the yo-yoing again! I've lost 110 pounds in the last 15 months (the most I've ever lost at one time by over double), and am determined to keep it off this time. I kind of did it on the Kim Plan:) making sure to keep my protein high, but not really denying myself either. I've also committed to exercising 6-7 times a week, and I've been able to do that so far! The WISH Board is a very supportive and welcoming place, and I'm glad you're here! Best wishes as you work towards your healthier-living goals, and I'm looking forward to your posts!

You've come to the right place for weight loss support and motivation. :D The people on the WISH board are incredible. They cheer you on to keep going when you have a loss, pick you up and motivate you if you have a gain or lose your motivation and they are always quick to help with tips and suggestions. Good luck with your weight loss and I know you are going to love it here!
