Hi, I'm new.

Hi everybody,

My name is Joyce, I live in the Netherlands and I'm 20 years old.

As I live in the Netherlands, I'm quite nearby Disneyland Paris. I've been there about 13 times now, and I still go 2 to 3 times a year. I have an annual pass, so that's quite easy. Most of the time I go there with my boyfriend. He didn't visit Disneyland Paris before he knew me, but now he really likes it (okay, not as much as I do, but he does really like it ).

My dream has always been to travel to Walt Disney World someday. Now, we're actually planning to go in May 2012! I have found a lot of information already on a Dutch board, wich has some (frequent) WDW visitors too. But on advice of them, I signed up here to get even more details. I'm putting a lot of time in the planning etc. right now, as I find it GREAT to do so and really make my dream come true. I can't wait already!

Apart from the parcs, I love everything about Disney and I collect Disney stuff too. I have a lot of snowglobes, but also some Disney Traditions and other (random) (collectors-)items. Oh, and dvds, blurays, christmas ornaments and pins too! My favorite character is Belle, obviously. But other characters I really like are Minnie (and Mickey, together), Ariel, Rosetta and Figaro. And more ofcourse, but these are the most important I think. My favorite movies are Beauty and the Beast (duh), Tinkerbell, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, The Emperor's New Groove, The Princess and the Frog, and I think Tangled too (only have seen it once, lol).

So, apart from Disney I'm a student in Communications. I work parttime too. I really like themeparcs, and visit them a lot. Here in the Netherlands and countries around are quite a lot of them, so that's great. If you can, you should visit Europapark (Germany) and The Efteling (Netherlands) (I live like 30 min. away from The Efteling, haha). I also love to make pictures and shoot movies (in Disneyland Paris), but I'm not a pro or something. If you'd like to see some of my video's, you can go to my profile and follow the link there. I tape as much shows, parades, fireworks, etc. everytime I go. I also like gaming (on pc/internet, Wii, DS) and reading.

Welcome! If this board seems confusing to you hang in there. The more you are on the more you will understand the DIS lingo and how it works. I would LOVE to visit Disneyland Paris. Congratulations on your first visit to WDW in 2012. I too will be visiting the World in 2012 but I will be going in July. Have you started a trip report? I have been thinking about starting one as I am an obssessive planner but I'm still unsure. Once again welcome to the board and enjoy your vacation planning!!

Thank you! I didn't started a trip report yet.. Seemed a little early and I don't quite get the board totally yet. But is it normal to start a tripreport this early? It would be nice to share our ideas/plans, and maybe some people can give us more info based on what we want.. I guess I will soon, as soon 'as I'm settled'.
