im so glad ive found this web site! its my first trip to disney world this september and ive found out so many good tips. were staying at allstar music and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it takes to get to each one of the parks from our resort? thanks

We stayed at ASMu last year and LOVED it! Animal Kingdom (about 10 - 15 minutes) is your nearest park, followed by Epcot, DHS (10 - 15 minutes), then MK (15 - 2 minutes) and finally Downtown Disney (the latter taking about 25 minutes driving time).

Your biggest timing factor is how long you have to wait for a bus. Actual travelling time is fairly consistent. We found the bus service there to be outstanding and in 16 days only twice did we wait more than 10 minutes for a bus (both times were Downtown Disney).

So good to have you with us. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you need and want to.

We stayed at All Star Movies early December 09. Bus service was fine, it took 15-20 minutes to the parks.

I'd read the all star resorts often share buses but this only happened a couple of times and we went at a less busy time of year.

I'd read the all star resorts often share buses but this only happened a couple of times and we went at a less busy time of year.

We were there over Easter so it was BUSY but there were still shared buses at certain times of the day, like during the late morning/mid afternoon and then after evening EMH. The nice thing about All Star Music is that it is the second stop either way. If you really want to get on and are worried about standing room only you can walk to Sports or Movies along the path in 5 minutes.

I think the advice given by 2Tiggies is pretty good. I tend to use the transport wizard on this link a lot to calculate travelling times and the best way to get from A to B

You will love the all stars, we've stayed at the movies several times and never had any problems with the buses. 2tiggies has given you a good guide to the bus times. Asl anymore quiestions you may have and happy planning

Sorry I can't answer your questions about the AS Resorts, but just wanted to say HI!

Welcome to the Dis. The buses from AS resorts are pretty frequent never really had to wait long for one in our 5 stays at the various resorts.
My advice when coming back from the parks wuld be to get on any AS bus as it is a easy walk from one resort to the other. Be warned that if you stay for the fireworks the queue's for the AS buses is huge as tends to be one bus dropping off at all AS resorts or this used to be the case, I'm sure if its changed someone will correct me.
You will have a great time it is a fun resort.x
