Hi everyone - long-time lurker, 1st time poster. I have gone to Disney World regularly since I was young. Let's see if I can date myself - I remember when Space Mountain was being built and was the "new thing", MK was the only park, and if you wanted an alternative you went to Busch Gardens. OMG - I'm old.
My DS is 6 and the last time we went he was 4. For anyone who thinks 4 is too young for Disney, think again. He hasn't stopped talking about it since we went last time. He remembers EVERYTHING! That's my boy... a Disney addict in the making.
Anyway, we are going from 11/27 to 12/1. We have been planning this trip for 10 months and my DS doesn't know we are going. We are going to get him up on Tues. as if he was going to school, and tell him we don't feel like going to work so why don't we just go to Disney! I've been dying to tell him... I can't wait to see the look on his face.
So far, this Board has been the best source of information I have found anywhere about Disney. I appreciate everyone sharing their info. - a little Disney magic without having to be at Disney.
We've made an agreement this time to approach everything non-Commando style. No sense in making ourselves exhausted. I am going to have a sketchy plan and I'm hoping that being the Thanksgiving holiday will be over, things won't be as crowded.
Just the fact that we are going is a good thing....
