I think everyone feels like that, and everyone has some of there favorite memories about this place. Like I wasn't on a lot this summer, but I remember wayyyyy way back when we had the Last One to Post thread. Omg, I loved that thing.

Then there was this one night a couple years ago on the Show Your Face thread. Really fun. And a few all nighters on RUYPWRS (not that it's even called that anymore, )

Different people think that different times on the DIS were the best.

Also, about summers. They are very drama filled. I think people are on here so much in the summer that some of us just get sick of each other (picking out everyones faults), and problems start.

I try not to get tied up in all of it anymore. I like to come on here when I'm bored, or to kind of 'escape' for a little bit, but the minute things start to go sour, I'll just leave for a while.

I joined DIS in 2006 and whenever I'd come here as a newbie, barely anybody would talk to me since everyone knew each other.

I guess my problem is a reverse of yours.

I figure if I keep posting eventually someone might know me and I'll be able to be in that little 'group' everyone keeps bringing up.

I don't mean this in the wrong way, but don't leave out the newbies to keep the old group.

ik you're not saying that all the cliques should stay but a lot of us weren't here a lot during the summer and we don't know what happened...it's hard to come in after the summer and try to talk to you guys and have you all so tight and the newer people not know if they fit or not...

At least that's what i feel like lately, i feel like i don't know anybody anymore on here.

I'm not like a super old diser who has been on here for so long but i feel like i just joined yesterday lately.

There are so many new people joining & i feel lost in it all, i feel like i barley recognize anybody anymore!
