Hi!! Well, I'm from the Reading area & I'll be at Disney 11/25-30 staying at BWV. TaraPa & Once Upon A Dream are going to be there around the same time! We're actually going to meet up on 11/29 at the Boardwalk Bakery for some yummy treasures & "get to know ya" conversations! Let us know if you'd like to come too!!

We spend a few evenings in the summer at the Reading Phillies. We have been doing that snce our kids were little. A good friend of mine teaches kindergarten in Fleetwood.
I wish I could meet up with you at the Boardwalk on 11/29. We don't arrive till 12/1.

I haven't been on in a few days, sadly my mother-in-law passed away suddenly on Friday, so we've been dealing with that. The viewing is tonight & services are tomorrow, so I might need to lean on my DIS Friends in the wee hours when I can't sleep!

Only 6 more weeks til the Boardwalk PA DISMeet!

Hey Tara: Please accept my condolences on your loss. October is a tough time for me, too. Monday (10/15) was 4 years since my Dad passed. It is also the month of my brother's birthday and parent anniversary (all passed). Makes me look forward even more to November and our upcoming trip. Will give you a "live" group hug then, but this will have to do in the meantime

Thanks everyone for your support! It's raining here today, what icky weather for a funeral. Sorry to hear that October brings you sadness Fern. Hopefully as the years pass it will get easier for you to enjoy the month with all the good memories of your family.

Hope you are able to meet up with us. My DH and DBFF have left all the planning to me as they are both convinced I have gone "off the deep edge" with all this planning and being DIS obsessed - but they will appreciate it when we are there and everything (hopefully) runs nice and smoothly.

Aww, Tara I'm so sorry to hear about your DMIL . I hope you and your family are doing OK with the situation. How are your kids holding up? Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Take care of yourself .

ok,ok,ok.....my Disney ME envelope came today!!!! It's really getting closer! Not that I'm excited or anything. My 3 little nieces called tonight (they live down south) & when I told them that I received an envelope from Disney World, you should've heard the screams!! I think they're just a little excited too!

PrincessAlways that's so exciting!! I'm staying at The Dolphin so no ME for me I better get my butt in gear & get some transportation set up! We leave 6 weeks from tomorrow! I had a message on my machine tonight from USAir that they changed my flights for our departure day - I was so scared to call them back! They just delayed my flight by 10 minutes, which actually does make me nervous - I only had a 50 min. layover to start with which is risky, now I'm down to 40 min. If you see a crazy frantic lady dragging or carrying a 7-year old through Charlotte airport on 11/29 that would be me!

Thanks again to everyone who sent warm wishes for our family. The funeral was today & boy was it tough. They always are, I don't know why I thought I could get through this one in a better mood. I am totally drained & ready for bed but now DS7 is crying that his belly hurts & he feels sick. It could be a LONG night over here! And I have to open the store tomorrow & get this - the VP of Yankee Candle is visiting us in the a.m. it's a HUGE deal - so I must be there & must be perky! I'll put on my best "Just-been-to-a-funeral and up-all-night-with-a-puking-child" smile!

Don't worry about the short layover, you'll be fine. We managed to get DS, his carseat and our carryon luggage out of one UsAir flight in Charlotte and into another in 20 min. Not that I want to do it again, but it was possible (carrying DS and running the whole way )

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you and you can move towards the healing process. Hopefully DS feels sick from nerves and stress today and it's nothing contagious or long lasting. I'm sure you'll wow the VP tomorrow! Good luck !
