Tara - funny you should say that. A few years ago someone on the boards did a meet (somewhere far from me, I forget where). They posted after the meet that their wife had been opposed to it for the reasons you listed. Well needless to say, by the end of the night and a few beers, everyone was laughing about her concerns. I certainly understood her trepidation. Anyway, thought you would like to know that your DH isn't the only one who have concerns. The only problem is, once he meets us all, he may have more concerns.

Same here - all 3 football games were postponed til tomorrow so we made a huge lasagna, apple crisp & cookies! YUM! (Now we're all laying here like zombies saying "why did I eat so much??") I should have invited some local DIS-ers over to help us eat it!

yeah that will be the next venue for the closing of the Summer DisMeet!!! After DH gets to meet us and survive the 1st Pa Diser Picnic!!!!

Tomorrow after church I will try to swing by at the office and see how to reserve those covered areas with the picnic tables....

my favorite spot which is very accesable to water only has 3 picnic tables... which might not be enough room for the Disers... Also anybody celebrating anything for the Month of march... we can add that too other than welcoming the heat etc.. hmmmm MArch 14th.. hopefully it doesnt snow...

Hi chicklets, The dis meet Ants has planned for March sounds great!!!! Unfortunately I can't come I have my cousins wedding in East Norriton that day. It sound like a really good time and I hope it isn't to "chilly"

Linda, that weekend sound good to me. I just found out the dates for my Feb. trip and they are later in the month than I thought. My nephew is marching in the MK on Feb. 27th so we are going down on the 26th and coming back on the on March 4th or 5th. I might be cutting it close trying to go again so soon.

What about this weather I hate it. I was trying to hold out and keep wearin' my flip flops until Nov. 1st buuttttt it is too cold. I had to put on shoes . I need to be somewhere warm. Oh well another GREAT day in PA. Terri

Yeah ... Have fun in Japan. I won't be going to WDW till 13 days after that - guess I'll miss it. But since your meet in Japan is the day before my birthday ... have one for me, will yas?

I'm "in" for the meet in March. (I believe) Hopefully we'll get one of those beautiful sunny Spring days. ?? Gawrsh, I hope so. I'll need a "what-to-bring" list!!!

Whereabouts in N Bucks? My road is half Bucks, half Northampton County, so I guess I can say I'm very close to Upper Bucks! The closest town to me in Bucks is Springtown.
