If anyone is there the week of 11/30 raise your hand. We are at AKL DVC (concierge I might add cause it's my 60th birthday) starting 11/30 and checking out 12/5. We are staying off grounds the nite of 12/5 and leaving 12/6.

I will be there 11/29/08 coming home 12/2/08. We will be going to Epcot on the 30th and seeing the candlelight processional. Monday morning breakfast at Kona Cafe and then off to other parks, but don't know the game plan. then we come home on the 2nd and our flight leaves at 11:30. It will be a kind of whirlwind vacation, but I am looking forward to it nonetheless. The email that someone was talking about was a Nurses perspective on heart attacks. I don't think I have it any more, but I actually reread it before I went to the hospital myself.

Ok we'll pencil in breakfast at the Boardwalk on the 5th - so far you, Fern & myself...and the 8:30pm meet on the 6th at the Japan Arch for Linda, Antss & myself & whoever else....Antss needs to come back & update everything so I can keep it straight! Does everyone have transportation to get to the Boardwalk on the morning of the 5th?

There is the list - looks like a few of you mght want to try & meet up on the 1st or 2nd as well. So we'll pencil in breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery (or wherever you choose) on 12/5 - what time? I'm not an early riser but we will all want to get up & out to the parks - 8am? 8:30? Then meet B can be 12/6 at 8:30pm at the Japan Arch to watch Illuminations. Oh Lord my GF that is coming with me is going to think I'm nuts!

yup, He is a snake/spider/yucky critter type of guy. While we were in AZ he saw a Tarantula in the middle of the road. He stopped the car, got out, picked up the stupid, scary thing and moved it to the side of the road (meanwhile I was ) So I always try and give him some time to hunt the back roads and RR tracks to find "critters". He is happy and I am happy as I don't have to go with him.
Fortunately we aren't allowed to bring them home on the plane. I shudder to think what would happen if we drove there.

Penny = OMG!!! Can I have his cell number??!? We have issues with big black snakes here at our house - we live by the woods & have tons of rocks in our landscaping - and they love to sunbathe on my driveway & slither into my garage & hide under things. Several times I've picked up the stack of newspapers, the recycling, etc. to see a black snake curled up under it!! I HATE SNAKES to the point that I almost hyperventilate. My boys think they are the coolest things & try to catch them - ugh!

Hello Chicklets, I'm back safe and sound. We had a great flight down on the 5th. No hurricanes in sight. My sis did not think it was that good, as she is a nervous flyer but the captain assured her that we would not be flying anywhere near the hurricane. lol Sis thinks any flight is bad even if the plane stays on the ground.

We had a really great week, unfortunately I did not have a chance to hook up with anyone from the boards. I missed seeing both Timmy and Nancy Ann, I hope you both had a great trip.

We took it very easy, it was sooooo soooo hot that we spent alot of time by the pool. We didn't want to tax John to much in the heat. We did alot of stuff in the late afternoon and during the evening extra magic hours. BTW...Love the Dolphin-Swan pool complex. Tara I can see why this is your favorite hotel. The dolphin was pretty empty last week as they had a huge pharmacetical company cancel their convention, so we felt like we were getting all kinds of special attention. The parks were also very empty. Most rides were only a 5 to 10 minute wait, rides like TOT and the Safari included. I think we waited like 10 minutes to get into soarin' one night it was awesome.

Oh by the way Mom is still in the hospital we are hoping she will be released tomorrow. They had to get her on two antibiotics to clear up the diverticulitis{spelling} Thank you for all the well wishes.

I am missing Disney already. lol Tell you more later. Chuchie Terri

Linda - oh well I guess a September trip just wasn't meant to be. Now you can live off of the anticipation of the December trip. Sometimes I think the planning & waiting is as exciting as the trip. Ok, no, that's not true. But it does give me something to look forward to!

Hi Chuchieeeeeeeeee and everybody.... Yes!! I am home in one piece.... let's see ... the bad part 1st.... vaca got off a little bit rocky... dropped camera in between tracks of HM on my 4th day of the trip... rained hard and fell flat on me face infront of Planet Hollywood and end up in the ER.. they insisted, but I was fine!!! Thank God for connection... the nursing sup who was working that afternoon knows me so she let me go with a couple of vicodin and then flight got delayed in going back home but while waiting for my flight I saw Stevie Wonder passing by So it was a yin and yang type of vacation... the GREAT stuff about my vaca... I met so many disers who I was able to hang out with more than one time.. shared adrs... shared kitchen sink.. went to watch a movie... enjoyed PI one toooo many nights... Pool meets at 4 AM ( they are from UK and they are still jet logged so it was hilarious!!! Was glad POP did not throw us out ) DISer Door Stalking at midnight... coffee meet at 6AM... ToT Meet... and Jellyrolls meet... so yup to sum it all up I had a 10 magical vacation days!!! I tried calling Chuchie.. and left a message to the number I had when I 1st met you in April. Well more reason to plan for a next trip.... for now I am back to reality and have 77 days till I get a vacation again!!!

this was our second year... only rode it one time.. and we had a 40 minute wait so we did get to chatter up... next meet to be posted is the kitchen sink meet.. then the 4AM meet at the computer pool... hmmm then the JR meet... bear with me 300 pics to d/l one by one is a bit complicated..
