Auntie Rosie - Rosie is my Auntie and has never been abroad before.
Up early this morning and showered. Tried to blowdry my hair as straight as possible but with no straighteners I was fighting a losing battle. What to wear........... same as yesterday I think although walking around the park in my wedge sandals was not filling my feet with joy. Phoned BA again and spoke to a lovely girl but she had no idea where the suitcases were and feared we would not get them back by the end of the holiday
Maybe I needed to hear this so I wasn't living in hope and just had to get on with it so on to breakfast and to the park for 9am
We headed straight to fantasyland and rode the Tea cups, snow white, small world and Peter Pan. By this time it was 10am so I headed to BTM for fastpasses and the rest went for a go on POTC. By the time we met up again it was time to ride BTM. Lewis was keen, Molly was not but she said she would give it a go. Mum and Rosie sat this one out so off we went
Molly trying to smile
Everyone looked like they were having fun but Molly would not ride again. Lewis and DH went back round again with the rest of the fastpass tickets and we waited to get their photo - and missed my opportunity
We then headed to Discoveryland to watch The Lion King Show while having our lunch. We made it just before the rush and got served quite quickly. Molly was starving so she had an Adults chicken nuggets and DH had a Magic Burger and Lewis and I had the kids meal. I am not a fan of The Lion King Show(maybe seen it way too much) but everyone else enjoyed it and it keeps the kids entertained. Out we went to use our Buzz fastpasses and the sun was out woo hoo. It was lovely and hot but now we had to go and find sun lotion and pay 20 euros for the priviledge
The kids love Pocohantas Park so we decided to trek(my feet are aching by this point) back there and they played for an hour while we just enjoyed the sunshine and had a cool drink.
Molly and Lewis in the Park
By this time it was nearly time for the parade so took advantage of the good weather and sat just across from Fantasia Gelati and had a great spot for the parade. I left DH and co to guard the spot with their lives and went to get ice cream. Molly & I had vanilla (the daring ones in the family) DH and Granda had Rum & Raisin,Lewis had chocolate
and Granny and Rosie had strawberry. We finished our ice cream just in time for the parade to start. What can I say - fantastic!!!!
The Lion King float stopped right in front of us and we had great fun with Timon although we could have done without those smells
Lewis loved the Toy Story float
By the time the parade was over we decided to go to the Village. I had to try and find a change of footwear and the kids needed a change of clothes for tomorrow!
Picked up a few bits for the kids and DH had to even buy a Disney t shirt
.Dh loves all things Disney and our house has Disney bits everywhere but he doesn,t do clothing until now but he ho. As for me the only footwear i could find to fit were pink Disney crocs
They were comfy so I bought them and instructed DH not to take any full bodied photos from now on
Everyone was hungry by this point so we headed to Annettes early as I wanted to pop into The Studios before closing to see if the Crush queue was any smaller
. At Annettes I had Euro Chick,DH had Rock and Roll burger,DS had a hot dog and DD had kids fish. Everyone enjoyed their meal and off we went to The Studios but the wait for Crush was 90 minutes and the line had been closed so the kids had a shot on Cars and the ladies had a look about the Animation Gallery
After that we headed back to the hotel, the kids swam, the ladies consumed wine, the kids played, the men consumed beer and so it went on until bed time planning to head for The Studios first thing
