Hi everyone, just wanted to stop by and introduce myself :)

My fiance proposed to me at Disneyland Paris in December 2004 and we have just celebrated our 2 year anniversary of being together at WDW (April/May).

We've been deliberating over all sorts of choices for weddings and decided we are going to get married in Florida with just immediate family - including ourselves it will be ten adults and one child :)

Obviously we still have quite some time to make our choices - at the moment we are thinking of getting married offsite, then eating at the California Grill (we spent our anniversary night there and we were made to feel so special  ) and maybe finishing the day with a fireworks cruise - of course, in the next three years we may change our minds lol!

Anyhoo, just wanted to say hi and I look forward to picking up hints and tips from you all :goodvibes

You'll find a lot of great tips here! I've only been a member for a few weeks and already my head is spinning! :goodvibes

Hi
welcome, and congratulations on your forthcoming Disney wedding.
Everybody is really friendly on here, you will receive lots of great advice.
Trust me, time flies, before you know it, your wedding plans will be well underway!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone

Dee - yes, it is me!!

Terence - I've been watching the England games (not that they've been inspiring!) and I've seen snippets of other games as my DF likes watching any games lol!

Woohoo.....Another Kent Fairytale Wedding !!!
Hi Jen. My wife and I got married at the Wedding Pavilion last September and it was absolutely awesome.
You will definitely have a fab time and it is such an exciting time going through the planning.

Whereabouts in Kent are you? We live in Deal.

We had a full reception when we got back at Boughton Golf Club which was also brilliant. I really don't think that there is a better way than Disney to get married.

Once you are in contact with your Event Manager, you are in such safe hands, they look after you like only Disney can.

If you want some advice, info or just chitty-chat about our experiences, please feel free to contact me through here by Private Message.....I would be delighted to share our wedding details with you.

Best of luck to you and your fiance.
Kind regards,
Russ

Hi Russ!

Thanks for your info :D

We're in Gillingham at the moment but hoping to be somwhere a bit nicer by the time of the wedding ;)

I haven't been over to Deal in a couple of years - was in Weatherlees for work about two years ago but not been down there properly in ages!

We want to do the big reception when we come home as well - I see it as another chance to wear my dress :)

Out of interest, what did you and the other men in your party wear? My DF could pull off a pale coloured linen suit (Mediterranean colouring) but not so sure about his dad, my dad, and my brothers!
