Prayers needed! I got some extremely sad news this morning. One of my close work friends 10-day old son died in his mothers arms last night. They noticed he was lethargic yesterday and took him to the doctors. He was checked over and sent home. He stopped breathing while in his mothers arms later that night. My friend Jason called 911 and performed CPR until they arrived. Please keep Jason & Kelly in your prayers while they deal with the loss of their son.

Oh my goodness...how very, very sad! I will definitely keep them in my prayers.

What did you think? I liked the 1st POTC. My girls weren't as happy with POTC 2. They definitely weren't impressed with the ending (or non-ending as the case may be). Chuck & I still have to go see it.

Laura felt the same way about the non-ending. I haven't seen POTC 2 yet. I also liked the first one. I saw it for the first time last month, because I really didn't have any desire to see it. So my expectations were very low.

I am so excited. The closest Drive-in to us has "Cars" and "POTC Dead Man's Chest" as a double feature this weekend. We are so there. I just hope they let me out of work early as planned. I'd hate to be fired because I walked out to go to the movies , but a girl has to do what a girl has to do

There was a boy here in Metro Atlanta today that died at football practice. I hope Lynn's boys do ok in pads. It is too hot for these kids to be exerting that kind of energy in full gear.

Definitely. I'm counting on posting to help with my post-trip depression. Of course, I'll also be getting my classroom ready and getting the kids ready to go back to school. This is more fun, though!

Please keep a local family in your prayers...an Amber Alert was just broadcast. A four year old girl was kidnapped in a botched home invasion. When the idiots didn't get money they took the girl.

Prayers being said! That's just terrible!

The older girls at camp made duct tape purses while at camp this year. They were really cute and the girls loved them. I want to buy some colored duct tape so that I can try making one.

Hi all. I'm still feeling rotten. I called the doctor and told her that after a week on the horse pills and no improvement, I wanted a Z-pack. She ordered one, so hopefully I will start to feel better in a couple of days. I'm seriously considering using another of my puny sick days tomorrow. I literally feel like I'm dragging myself around by the collar. I slept for a couple of hours after I got home (sent Melanie to pick up the prescription). Don't have much of an appetite. What do you all think of Kozy Shack rice pudding for dinner, followed by vanilla ice cream for a snack? That's what seems to appeal to me.

Definitely true, but my house is even worse than that. I'm embarrassed to open the front door.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Not sure the cake toppers will fit on the fairy cakes, but maybe the somemores or reese's. I really need to get planning this wedding. I have less than 4 months. What is a wedding planner to do??!!

Why start a wedding planning thread of course.
