Di & myself have been to WDW every year since our wedding year (1993), sometimes twice a year, as we are AP holders.

Our favorite resort is POFQ.

Welcome, I just joined also, and I'm also from the Jersey shore (not the MTV show). I live in Forked River, and for me my vaca starts when I get to ACY, a great little uncrowded airport that i'm sure is where you being your disney journey. This is a great site, wish I found it sooner!

Yup....always fly ACY to go to Disney!!! Can't beat it!! We live in Cape May County, about 45 minutes south of the airport.

This was simply unreal...a good portion of Cape May County had no power for about a week!! We lost ours for only 4 hours, thankfully...there's a good 2 feet of snow on the ground. Luckily, most people heeded the advisories and warnings, so we're slowly starting to dig out, literally as well as figuratively.

So does anyone on DISboards from Jersey ever have any meet and greets in disney or conventions or meets and greet kinda things here in Jersey? It would be kinda cool to meet other people that like Disney like us, since most people I know think I'm crazy!

Hello!! From a fellow Disney Lover and New Jersian!! I am also in Cape May county.

My kids go to school in Lower and due to having no power they missed the entire week. Oh how I can not wait until tomorrow when they may finally return to school!! I told DH we are moving to FL I am so not liking all the snow!

We only lost power briefly. I hope your children are able to return to school but they are calling for more snow tonight. I too, would love to move to Florida but I'm a public employee and have 17 years till retirement. So I have to settle for annual or semi annual trips. Which is why I like this site...at least I can talk to other like minded people on here!

New Jersey here too....I have been a member for a while.
We always fly out of AC too, never go anywhere else, it is sooooo easy!!!!
I am dying to book our next trip but can't yet, waiting for our tax return to see if we can go this year.
