I went to DLP a couple of days ago, and will be back at the resort area (not the parks - tres cher!) to finish doing my photo walk of the resorts tomorrow morning. Everything looks great, including the castle!!! I had a nice few minutes alone with Pooh and then Eeyore at the Seqouia Lodge the other day. :)

Glad you are enjoyed your visit to DLP :cheer2: I'm also delighted to hear you will be doing one of your photos walks at the resorts - I love your WDW ones :goodvibes

I had a bad sinus infection when I arrived in Paris, I did get to a doctor promptly (only 30 Euros!) but was still sluggish at DLP. Not wanting to leave my resort walk half done, I plan to finish it tomorrow morning. :) I have been writing daily trip reports, it has been a good trip. And my moments alone with Pooh were priceless!

I am glad you liked the other resort walks!!! I am going inside each resort also to take a few photos each. After that, my website poll shows me doing the monorail resort area walk.

I love Paris, but it will be good to be home.

Ooh, DLP and the monorail resorts - I can't wait!! :yay: Hope you are fully recovered now :flower3:

The DLP resorts this trip - next time, I'll get the Disneyland Paris park. I didn't figure out how to get into the Sante Fe and didn't spend a lot of time looking (the place always makes me feel down just looking at it!)

Within a couple of weeks I should have the monorail resorts walk up, but this coming week it will be the DLP resorts. Hopefully by next Sunday online! And thanks, I am still getting better but have probably pushed myself too much. I need a nap today. :) I did finish the walk of the resorts in pics today other than the Sante Fe, just the outside there. The parks looked like they'd be very busy today.

hello Denise!!! nice to see you here and there! hope that you are having a great time, and doing lots of walking.... I really enjoyed the walk around the Cheyenne and Santa Fe

Hope you're feeling better :grouphug:

Just had a look at your WDW walks, what wonderful photos! :goodvibes Looking forward to seeing the DLP one.

Hi Elaine and everyone!

I'm back, I wish I hadn't gotten sick but I still have plenty of photos. :) Here are a couple of my favorites, but I'll have 100+ up by the end of the week on my site too:

I enjoy doing the photo walks - I wish I had a chance to do a photo walk around the DLP park, but that will have to be next time!

Thank you, that is really nice!!!! I am exhausted today, I tend to wear myself out on trips.:)

Denise

Get some rest and know I'm waiting, not very patiently for more reports and photo's. I loved reading your reports during your trip and would check several times a day for any updates.

Hi Beckie!

That is really nice of you - I will finish my last report tonight I think, maybe add some tips and such later this week. I have about 1000 photos to sift through from the trip, so hopefully by Saturday I'll have the DLP walk up!

sorry for being so ignorant - what is a photo walk? is it basically walking round the resort taking pictures? those pictures are fab either way!!

When I post the walk, it will start from the Downtown Disney resort area, going around the resorts in order, around the lake and to the Disneyland Paris Hotel.

I have photos also inside most of the resorts, and I then timed that walk, just like I do at WDW. The time is just walking around the resort area, not including taking pictures or going inside the resorts. We moved everything to www.mousesteps.com as we outgrew the fitness blog site (I wasn't expecting the Disney section to get so busy so quickly).

If I wasn't sick, I'd have done the same with DLP itself - but next time. :)

I didn't spend tons of time on each photo - so they aren't like mini-Van Goghs, but some of them came out very nicely.

Lovely photos Denise :goodvibes

Much as I love photos of the parks, it's going to be wonderful to see some more of the resorts :yay:

Thanks! Those two are my favorites, they go downhill from there. :) (actually, I do have others I like!)

I don't think there are nearly enough pics online of the resorts, so I really was glad to concentrate on those. I actually have 200 - 300 of the DL resorts/Downtown Disney, I just need to go through them (over 100 will go up).
