Hello everyone!

Booked a trip last week for Oct 31st to Nov 6th and I'm so excited! I'm 27 and it will be my first time going to Disney. My fiance has been a few times but the last was 10 years ago so it's exciting for him too! We always spoke about going but when we saw the dining plan special we jumped at the chance. We'll be going to universal/Busch gardens etc for 8 days after as well as we decided to go all out.

This forum has been wonderful to read as ever question I've had has been answered without having to post anything so thank you to everyone for being so fantastic on here. Can't wait to go!! Mentally preparing already to revert back to my 9 year old self

We're from TO and like you our first trip a few years ago was Oct 31 to around Nov 6. It's a great time, you get to see the Halloween decoration up and then the beginning of the Christmas decoration, plus crowds are not too bad. Have a blast!

My family is booked for our third WDW trip together, our fist being in January 2011. This site has been an excellent resource for information. I also highly recommend the book Passporter's Guide to Disney, it has so much useful information for planning your trip.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I'll have a look at that guide. Getting very excited now! Finished booking the universal side of our trip so now everything is in place and the waiting game is on! 5 weeks feels like forever
