Hello from Alliance (30 miles east of Canton) New to DIS but finding all kinds of info. This is my first post actually.
Graduated from Otterbein and was substitute teacher & marching band staff member at Dublin Coffman high school for 2 years!
Making our next trip in 33 days - 1st trip for our 20 month old son, should be an adventure!

Well, I'm not from Ohio but we've driven through many times. This Friday and Saturday we are going on 2 college visits with DD. We will be visiting Lake Erie College near Cleveland and University of Findlay in Findlay. What good things can you tell me about Ohio? I know from previous trips that the gas is about 20 cents cheaper a gallon than in NY - thanks to NY taxes. I'll have to fill up before we had back home.

My younger sister was a DCHS band member. She graduated in 1994. It is a small world after all.

It is a Small World - I was in Dublin from spring 1993 (student teacher) thru 1995 marching season. I was the assistant Flag Corp instructor with Missy Dover!

I'm in NE Ohio......Lorain, to be exact.

My sister's best friend was in flag corp. Kate was the maid of honor at my lil' sister's wedding just this past Friday. I also did some of my teaching field experience with Dublin and I am now a substitute teacher for Dublin and Hilliard. I am hoping to get a full time job teaching for the upcoming school year. (fingers crossed).
