Hi all!
My husband and I are making our first Disney trip shortly. We have 4 kids aged 13-19 that we are leaving home. We are visiting Florida for other reasons so our Disney stop will only be one day at the Magic Kingdom! I can't wiat I'm a huge Mickey fan and even have a Mickey tattoo!

Thanks! I'm super excited! We originally booked a cheap room offsite but I convinced my husband that we need to stay on site so we booked in to the All Stars Movie Resort last night!

Welcome! Think you made a good decision to stay on site. Have never tried that resort but have stayed at Pop Century and thought it was great for my needs. Definitely check out the resort specific threads for more info. If most of your time is spent in the parks, then extra room amenities really can't be enjoyed properly for the money paid. But the transportation is good (don't forget you can still use the boats to/from Downtown Disney and the monorail system even if they don't service your own resort . . . the ride is enjoyable in its own right) and the extra window for FP+ and ressies is a perk. If your stay was longer, having your in-park purchases sent to your resort for next day pick-up in the gift shop is also great. Enjoy!

Hey! We are from Alberta!! Doing our first family Disney holiday in May - 7 night Disney Cruise and then 6 days at Disney World. So excited!
Our kids are 5 and 11 so figured now was a good time. We have been drooling over this holiday for a while so finally took the plunge.
