The trip is a old one. There's been a fair amount of rain, BUT today was supposed to be all rain, up to 3 inches, but apparently it went south of here!
Wait to you see F& G this year! The topiaries are wonderful. Lotso, Buzz & Woody are near the American Pavillion, with an alphabet garden that's cute. You don't even have to go to Epcot to see a garden, there's a lovely one before you get into the international gateway!

Some general comments.

The "Take it with you" project takes place on the Greenhouse stage. I went to the Pruning talk yesterday and came home with a gardenia! Wonderful! I love my live souvenirs from the F & G show!

There's pixie dust!. I went to a garden show talk on Thursday & was nearly back at the international Gateway when I realized I left my sun hat, with my very favorite pin, the one from last year's Flower show on it.

I have trouble walking & sadly decided the walk back wasn't worth it. HOWEVER, the next day I asked when i went to another presentation and the CM said that if they found it it would have been taken to T&T. However, she surprised me 5 minutes later as I was in line, the hat was still there, and it still had the pin on it!

We enjoyed the Boardwalk Magician!

The Turtles put on a great show! We were at the 2nd show last night.

Today DS, DDiL, 3 DGC showed up, and their 1 bedroom was ready for them at noon, and is just a few doors away.

The prediction was for 3 inches of rain today, but all of us enjoyed a great day at SAB, & we topped it off by sharing a Kitchen Sink! The rain did come around 5. It's off and on.

One night the resort worked on electric stuff. We were told no electricity in vilas from maybe 2-4 AM. I did wake up during that time & the hallway lights were on. In villa electricity was off.

My family went to DQ now, I'm catching up on the Dis,

I really love the F & G show and I am really missing it this year. So enjoy it alittle extra for me would you!

This is the first time we missed it for several years now. We opted to go to Aulani this spring instead. I will just have to make my own flower show at Aulani instead.

Hope you're having a wonderful time. The high school band from Ramsey NJ is down there right now and was suppose to march at the MK yesterday at 10:00 AM, weather permitting. One of my coworker's daughter is marching and so I have been hearing about the rainy weather and T-storm watches. Hopefully the weather is getting better now that your family is there. It's starting to get really nasty up here in NY. Cold, windy and rainy. Enjoy the World.

Enjoy your stay! We got an early glimpse of F & G this year - everything was beautiful!

I didn't get my fill though - we have first timers with us and we didn't just that relaxing time in that I was longing for.

Trying to convince hubby that we could jump in the car tomorrow and finish out our APs between now & 5/6......he's not falling for it. DRAT!!

Hi!

Thanks for ALL of the wonderful wishes! The weather was so NICE today! Yes , a few showers but then sunny, not too much humidity! My DGDs 7, 9 came with me to the animation class & we drew Tigger! My DDiL beat me soundly in TSMWM & she got the best score in the hour! A few years ago, she did very well in the slide races at VB, she has the bragging rights in the Woz's.

A couple of months ago, I booked dinner at the Rose & Crown to see Illuminations from that vantage point. Well, it was a beautiful clear night, even a bit chilly, so Illuminations was just perfect. For dinner, I had the surf & turf, tomato soup, and we shared the berry mash. WOW, I have leftovers for lunch & thought dinner was great! I didn't enjoy the Yorkshire pudding that came with the meal, but the mashed potatoes were heavenly! I wish I knew how to make them so good!

So, it's our last night. My friend has a 4:30 wake up call, I guess I have it too! My ME time is 2 something.
