Hi from a WDW Local Girl

I don't feel exactly new anymore, especially since I went on a DCL cruise and met a bunch of DIS people, but I never really did introduce myself on the main parts of the board.

I'm originally from Long Island NY, living not far from WDW for the past 7 years. I'm 35, married, without kids & I'm a huge Disney fan. I tend to spend a lot of time hanging around Disney World and the other local Theme Parks.

hey welcome and what a coincidence, my g/f of 9 years is 35 also and a fan of all things disney/seaworld/universal etc.

no kids together and we can never get enough of the parks in orlando...

you're lucky you don't live far, we're about 1 hr 45 mins. southbound on the turnpike in st. lucie county, so we don't get to go as often, but make it a point....

Hey there. When we first moved to FL we lived in Boynton and we were trying to run up here all the time. It was crazy. That's why we moved. At first we were in Kissimmee which rocked, but now we're in a house about 35-40 mins. away. For me, that really isn't close enough, but most people think I'm nuts when I say that. lol

hahaha, no i understand completely, there's just some kind of " magic " that happens when going to Disney.

When we 1st went we wanted to see what all the hype was about ( i had never been there, she had been there as a child ) , and ever since we got hooked.

It's unexplainable to be honest....

Yup, I get that. From the first time I stepped foot in the place October of 1989 I was quite hopelessly hooked.

By the way, fanoforlando...my Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party night has now turned into a mini-vacay. I'm going to blame you for that. I realized though that it will be 20 years this Halloween since my first trip to WDW. That's going to make this Halloween a little more scary I think. lol

Love the Avatar & Title. That was too funny. Sometime I wish Seinfeld was still on commenting on all the crazy stuff that's happened since it ended. There's been so much I'm sure they would have made hysterical.

Have a blast at MNSSHP! We've been 7 times and we have our tickets for this Halloween Night already! Needless to say we love it. We wear costumes every year, too.
