Hello all. I have been reading for months on this site, but never did post. I've always found so much information that I didn't have anything new to add. I wanted to thank you all for being so helpful.
We are leaving one week from today for my dream Disney vacation. (Jan 9)
We are staying in the main building of the Grand Floridian, first time we've ever tried concierge, 2nd time at the hotel. I love everything Disney. We have 8 kids, so the trip ought to be quite interesting. This will be the first time most of them have flown. Of course, we couldn't all fit in one room so we have 2 rooms.
I don't have a lot of time tonight, as usual, but I'll try and post a trip report when we come home. I have lots of special things planned while we're there. We really enjoy the character meals, so have several of those planned. My two older girls, myself and my mom are doing the Disney Girl tea party thing at the Grand Floridian, and 2 of my boys are going on the little pirate cruise.
