Hi everyone need help!

Hi guys who better to ask when you need help with something like this. My friend received this celluloid used in Disney production. She was wondering what character it is or if it is a minor player what movie it came from. Can anyone help me out because I can not figure it out and it is driving me crazy. HELP!

The outfit reminds me of Pocahontas

It appears authentic in the photo, but I'm no expert. There might be some info (date, director, animator, authenticity stamp, etc) on the cell itself. CAREFULLY look between the paper frame or take it to a animation cel dealer. DO NOT RIP OR DAMAGE THE CELL. Even if you just have the production company/distribution company name, that can tell you when the cell was made. For instance, if "Buena Vista" is on it or "RKO" is on it, that will give you a time-range for the cell. Look on the back - is there a dealer's label? Any info saying where it was bought or sold? Another thing, is it framed or just in a mat? Anything identifiable on the outside?

The character could be anything from Sleeping Beauty to Pocahontas. The outfit looks Elizabethan, the girl has dark hair, her eyes look blue, she seems scared or surprised, she looks like she might have a veil on - maybe she's getting married?

Mulan(Hello, this one is in China - no "Rennaissance" or "Elizabethan" outfits
Robin Hood(no humans)
Fox & Hound(dress/animation style not right)
Pinocchio(style not right)
Jungle Book
anything PIXAR
Tarzan
almost anything with Mickey Mouse
almost anything with Pluto
Cinderella

What it might be:
Little Mermaid(clothing might not be quite right, cell looks too old?)
Sword in the Stone(are there even any women in this one?)
Pocahontas(cell too old?)

I went through all the exact thought processes. What about Pocahontas two or does the animation look too old. I wonder I don't have that movie.

I remember some shorts about Mary Queen of Scots and the London Bridge - I think I saw them on The Disney Channel back in the 1980s - maybe it is from one of those?

I did some digging based on what the previous poster suggested and found this on Wiki:

A 1957 episode of the Wonderful World of Disney titled, "The Truth About Mother Goose", discussed the origins of three nursery rhymes. Series host Walt Disney attributed the Mary Mary Quite Contrary rhyme to the life of Mary Stuart. This episode featured a brief animated short about Mary's life, done in the artistic style of "Sleeping Beauty". The short touched on important moments in Mary's life, even ending with a scene of Mary being marched to her beheading.
