Hi there everyone. I just joined your wonderful group here. I myself have never been to any Disney facilities, but have wanted to go to Disney World in Orlando, ever since I can remember. I don't see myself visiting there anytime in my near future as I am a newly married 20 year old, and we don't exactly have the extra money to vacation. But hopefully within the next five years my hubby and I will have the chance to go. I'm just here to learn about everyone else's experiences there, get travel tips and advice, and just find out the best way to go about it. I want to give myself plenty of time to plan my trip to make it the best one possible. Also need to time to save lots of money as I know it's not cheap.

I guess that's all for now, I'll be around reading posts mostly, see y'all!

So is there a thread anywhere that has a list of what alla y'alls abbreviations mean? Haha. I have come to understand a few of them by just reading a bunch of posts, and putting two and two together, but I still don't understand them all. I can tell what some of the attraction abbreviations are, and like what DS, DD, and DH mean, but someone help me out!

Hello Nycoleen! Welcome!! You will learn so much from these boards. I grew up in South Georgia so we were able to go to Disney World fairly often. However, I have learned SO much from these boards~ things I would have never known if I had not joined the Disboards! All of the helpful tips and advice made our December trip even that more magical!!! I hope that you get to go soon!!!!
