HHN07: Carnival of Carnage!!

Please don't tell me that they are deciding to "close for renovations" these beautiful rides at such a busy time of the year??!! Dumb....:sad2:

No Tigg....they arent. The rides are not open during HHN as it is at night. During some really busy nights they will open up coasters, but not usually dueling dragons.

Here is the latest behind the scenes pics from Universal:

JACK’D UP -- As if creepy clowns weren’t scary enough, Jack’s Funhouse in Clown-O-Vision is both 3-D and black lit to petrify guests this Halloween. Visitors will step inside the ringmaster’s mind, only to discover how twisted a place it really is. Jack’s house is one of eight haunted houses at the largest and most intense Halloween Horror Nights yet. Halloween Horror Nights will return to Universal Studios Florida for 23 select nights running from Sept. 28-29 through Oct. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 24-28, and Oct. 31-Nov. 3. Visit www.halloweenhorrornights.com for more information.

Oh, I see....When we were there in 2004, The Hulk was open and running. Don't remember about Dueling Dragons though. Only 36 more days to go!! :thumbsup2

Bye!

Bye!

In 2004 both IOA and Universal were open. This year the event is only at Universal Studios.

Thanks Grey, I didn't even realize that just Universal will have HHN. That kind of stinks. But, to make sure I am clear, does it mean that IOA would still be open for the purpose of their more popular rides and just not hold any of the HHN events? Or would IOA just be closed altogether?

At this point in time, would anyone be able to get their hands on a copy of the map of HHN 2007? Or do we have to wait for it to begin and someone posting it on their own? And, I know this is not the appropriate thread to ask this, but I am figuring whereas you have all been so kind and helpful with all of your info....would anyone have the same answer as above regarding a map for MNSSHP? And, if you can even just direct me to a link, that would be greatly apprecited too. :hippie:

Have a nice weekend!

IOA will close at it's normal time. It won't be open during HHN unless they sell too many tickets and are forced to open certain areas (has happened more times than I can tell you.)

If you want to see the actual guides that can be picked up in the park, you'll have to wait for the event to begin and for someone to scan it and put it online. Universal usually puts an event map on the website; I have no clue why it isn't up yet.

Okay great, this is good to know. Had a feeling we would have to wait a bit for the map to be available...When it is actually ready somewhere for viewing, please either one of you, would you direct me to it? Also, if I can be shown to where MNSSHP's map will be, again, very much appreciated. That should be anytime now whereas it starts next week! :woohoo:

Have a great week all! :hippie:

Not sure how long it'll take them to put up this year's, but HHNVault.com has scans of all the previous event guides.

Thanks for the HHN map! Can't wait. less than two weeks to go until we are there. I jsut ahve to get through a business trip to Charleston, WV next week first! Ugh!!!

Is there a link to the HHN map so that we can zoom it? Thank you to all that sent the parties maps!!!!

Would the crowds typically be lighter the weekend after Halloween? (last weekend of HHN)

and,
in the haunted houses, are the scary people (actors, employees, whatever--I know they're not called CMs like at WDW) allowed to touch the guests?
My BF loved HHN and I've never been. I get a little scary about those things.

I would think that being the last weekend, it is going to be busy. And no, they cant touch you, you cant touch them....but they can get right up in your face.

how did you get map? would like to look at it up close.
When I go for the AP party on the 28th, I'm planning on grabbing a handfull of maps and can send a few to other homies who want one before you come down. How would that be?
