Hey guys,

I was wondering what dates the DisBoards regulars where planning on attending HHN.

I’ll most likely be going this Friday the 8th or this Sunday the 10th alone, and wouldn’t mind meeting up with some of you guys.

I'm going the 10th.

I know several others are planning the 10th as well.

Thats cool DM. I'm definitly going the 10th cause I have nothing the next day, so I can stay out late and sleep in, and maybe go back to Universal.

If there are others going the 10th maybe we should organize a meet. Atleast we can get together, DM.

What are the crowds like on a Sunday? Would there be a need for HHN Express?

A meet would be cool. I'll try and have some "items" available for any who find me. And yes, DoscBosch, it'll be similar to last year's Item.

Crowds are unknown. It's Columbus Day weekend, plus it's the first day the FFPs are valid, so it might be a little more crowded that night. If anyone has a great touring plan for stay & screamers, that would be great. Otherwise investing in the express may not be a bad idea...

So lets figure out who else is going to be there the 10th and figure something out.

The plan I’ve heard that involves Stay & Scream is:

Horror in Wax opens at 6:00 and Ghost Town at 6:15. Do those in whichever order, then hit Castle Vampyr, then Hellgate Prison and then Horror Nightmare. Deadtopolis doesn’t open till 8:00, so that one would be last.

Disorientorium isn’t included in that, but I hear it’s not that great. It also doesn’t take into account Bill & Ted’s or the Parade.

I’ve looked at a lot or reviews and the consensus seems to be that the houses are ranked as:

#1 - Ghost Town
#2 – Castle Vampyr
#3 – Deadtropolis
#4 – Hellsgate Prison
#5/6 – Horr Nightmares & Horror in Wax
#7 – Disorientorium

Kevin, glad you are on-line....Barry asked me to tell you he is over on IOA Central.!! You can email him over there for a chat!

Since those two open so early, and are in the soundstages, I'm going to say that all those DIS members wishing to do some sort of meet should head for Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoopendus. That way you'll be that much closer to the soundstages.

I've also heard this year's Bill & Ted show isn't very good.

I though the Stay & Scream pen was located over at the Studios.

FYI:

We went last year on the Sunday before Columbus Day and it was PACKED!

HHN Express books sold out within the first 1/2 hour...

Also last year they were selling them on the bridge that crosses over from Margaritaville before the gates opened...

Thanks for the info!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Will invest in some fast passes!:earseek:

Hey, so I guess we didn't really decide anything about getting together. I'll keep my eyes open to see who I spot and if Stay & Scream is located in Suess then I'll be there. I'm gonna buy myself a new white adventurer hat like I used to wear, so anybody who wants to meet me keep an eye out for that.

I'll most likely try to purches the HHN express if I can.

So anyway, see you guys there.

-Kevin

It's a shame Kevin. Problem is Barry not being able to come on and organise one as he did so many times. Lots of your friends are on IOA Central I have noticed...perhaps you should post a thread over there, then I'm sure Barry would be only to happy to co-ordinate for you!;)

I saw Kevin and the DM at HHN on Sunday evening. Well, I basically kept running into Kevin throughout the evening. He got to witness my...um...'bravery'...during Horror in Wax.....the first haunted house I've ever been in :p :p :p
