My husband, brother-in-law and I will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge for our annual halloween vacation, doing HHN for the 4th year in a row on Oct 2!! Whoo Hooo!!

October 10th (day and evening), we'll be at Spooky Empire's Ultimate Horror Weekend (Screamfest), so if anyone else is planning on attending, just let us know

We're planning to come on just about every non-peak night we can (and that the weather cooperates). As it gets closer, I'll narrow that down but I think we'll come for at least a couple hours on most of those days. Gotta get a year's worth of a fix in such a short time.

Due 9/17/09 so the baby will just be born. We are aiming for 2010 though for our next trip - with family so we have a sitter and we can hit HHN's. After last year, we definately are not going more than one year missing it!
So keep us in the loop for next years trip for sure...there's no we we'd go again without doing what we did in 2008 for our honeymoon.

i say just bring the baby with for this year.....

just a tip for those that have not booked an onsite room but thinking about it....
try to make a decision and book before september 1st.
pickings tend to get slim at that point.

also, you do have 5 days prior to cancel a hotel ressie without penalties.

I haven't gotten our tkts yet, but plan on doing 10/29 (Thursday night). I am going to get them in Aug when I go up. I would rather get them in person than over the net since I will be there in a month. I doubt that they will sell out on a Thursday night by Aug...
It will be me, my 21 DD & 17 DD (her birthday is 10/28, will be 17 that day... so this is her birthday trip ) .... not sure if they will have friends with them or not.
