I haven't seen a review of this, so I wanted to share. The VIP Lounge is an awesome new experience designed for long-time fans (anyone's welcome, but you probably wouldn't get much out of it if you're a first timer). It's kind of like a museum of all the small props, design drawings and scale models for HHN through the years. When the icon characters go on break from the HHN 20/Fear Revealed scare zones, they walk through the lounge, giving personal attention to the people there.
Every Thursday, the A&D team gives a behind-the-scenes talk. Last night was about the interactive web experiences through the years and a lot of information on Legendary Truth from 2008. There are two sessions, 8 pm and 10 pm. Last night we showed up at around 9:30, during the Q&A for the first session. We had missed the first week because we went to the So You Think You Can Dance tour, so between sessions we asked TJ for a synopsis. He gave us LOTS of info on the Extreme House that was designed but never implemented in 2003. They're hoping to get one implemented soon. Anyway, it's just awesome to pick the brains of the people who make it all happen!
VIP lounge tickets are $10 per person per night. I highly recommend going on a non-Thursday, when things are really slow, to take in all the details, and also going to the talks if you're interested in the process. We were there last Sunday, and we were the only ones in the place. Last night was pretty busy due to the talks.
