you can see all the little details that are put into the houses in this tour.
the lights are on in every room during the tour and the guide will point out almost all of the things you would over look in the evening when going thru the houses.
if a person has a fear of the unknown, these tours are great for them.
the tour guide shows where the boo holes are, explains the theme of the house and lets you know what the details in the house represent.
the houses are not scary when the lights are on and the scare actors are not in them.
i'm just in awe of the work and creativity that goes into the making of these houses for hhn.

Do you go on the UTH tour before or after you have toured the houses at HHN? I was curious if you went on the tour before HHN, would it ruin the suprise? I sure don't want that!

when they did the UTH, i always did it before the houses in the evenings.
i wanted to see the details in each room.
it was like putting a puzzle together from when we first were told of the story line for the houses.
there is a real big difference in going thru the houses with all the lights on and very few people in the house on a tour.
at night time, it is very dark and it gets loud.
loud from guests screaming and loud from the scare actors.
i could not see the details of the houses when i went thru at nighttime.
i made a point of looking, but with the congo line constantly pushing me through and no light, it wasn't possible to see all the little things that impressed me during the day tour.
going through the houses impressed me on the creativity that was put into them. i would not have been able to see all of that without the tour.
it was almost like going through 2 different houses...........
Any chance that the Unmasking the Horror tour will be returning this year? I was disappointed that it wasn't available last year as I heard a lot of good reviews for it in the previous years. I will be visiting Universal again this October and plan to sign up for a RIP tour as I did last year. I'd also be interested in doing the Unmasking the Horror tour if it returns this year. Thanks in advance for any information you can supply regarding both tours!
A final decision has not been made as of yet concerning this tour. We are hopeful that it will return. I will add you email address to our
contact list and the moment our tour information for Halloween Horror
Nights this year is released you will receive it in your email.
I didn't either but I did ask if they received it and was told that yes they did and are collecting the emails which will be forwarded to the appropriate people.
