I understand that within each themed "house" there are staged reenactments from the horror movie scenes- etc. Are guest "moved along" or is there a way to watch these (for a few minutes) I'm sure lines can get bottlenecked so overall- how does this work? Thanks

No stopping. Guests are moved through at a quick pace. It's the only way to deal with all the visitors each night.

People walk through the houses slowly,if somebody stops and creates a bottle neck there's usually a Universal team member(regular employee, not a scareactor) at certain points to keep people moving along.

That's true....we had one guy who was a real jerk in front of us last year in WD house......soon as we walked into the house he tried to hold his family back so they got a good view of everything........well.......wouldn't we all buddy.........we told him to keep moving and he turned and told us he was worried his son would trip.....his son was 18 at least!!! Eventually he did it again and we called to the TM......he was told to keep moving or they would be removed........he kept moving after that. Oh he also had a terrified 5 year old too who was begging to go back outside........:sad2:

But yeah......they keep moving pretty well.........

If you want a really good look, Universal offers a Behind the Screams tour which is amazing. Well worth the money IMO, plus you can take all the pictures you want.

agree, i do the unmasking the horror tours each year.
it is the only way to see everything in the house with all the details.

lights are on during this tour and pictures are allowed to be taken.
that is how i got the pic in my avator at the AWIL house

you will see all the details put into each house and get loads of background info.
when you go through the houses at night, you miss those type of things.

at night in the houses, if the person in front of you gets a scare actor jump out at you, it won't happen when you hit that point.
the SA have to move back in position and get ready for another guest they can startle.

During peak times of HHN, you may not be able to find a single house in the park that isn't at least an hour wait. The congo line is unfortunately necessary to keep wait times down and people happy.

I am one who makes a small gap between the party in front of me, but never stop completely... I am talking of only a few feet... I need to get a few of the scares.... not watch as they all go to the people in front of me...

I also look away as I enter a new room (don't want to see any spoilers and scares) before I am actually in there. :rolleyes1

Cheers! :drinking1
