HHN on a Sunday - do you think an Express Pass is needed?

I am going back to Universal October 23-26 and I wanted to visit Halloween Horror Nights, but picked Sunday to go because I figured there would be less of a crowd (people flying home, locals going back to work the next day)

For those of you who have gone in the past - do you think I should buy the express pass for a Sunday visit - or will the lines start to thin out once 11pm rolls around?

Thanks for the input. :goodvibes

We didn't go that close to Halloween last yr so I am not certain...But from my experience if you do the Stay and Scream you can get a big jump on the crowds. We did it last year early Oct and got a good deal done before it got super crowded.

Obviously the Express would help a lot but whether its needed or not is depending on how long your willing to spend in line and if your able to do that Stay and Scream to get a jump on the crowds.

.

Is this because you stayed in the park after closing? or do they let you in an hour early?

I always recommend the Express Pass. I went on a Sunday last year in early October and it was insanely crowded. Yes, if you do Stay & Scream, you do get a jump on the crowds, but the place fills up fast. If you can afford it, an Express Pass is the way to go, especially if you want to see all of the house, zones, and shows.

Thanks - the fast pass on Sunday is a little more than the price of 2 tickets.. so I guess I will pick up the fastpass and be able to enjoy my time in the park
