HHN (On a Frequent Fear Basis)

Sun, Oct. 19th, my fifth straight nonpeak night. Crowds were manageable but Bungle still foiled us with a longer wait since some had not done it. Anywho, stop with points of interest from the top:

Psychoscarepy. Ok, I think a lot of the Cast A actors know me by now. The receptionist does... the guy I call "Smiley" in the padded room probably does... the guy operating the toilet probably does... etc. There's one I'm starting to greet each time now in the shower. He's the one with the devilish smile fixed on his face. This particular night I asked, "How's my favorite inmate?" He replied and followed me out menacingly. If you happen to know who I'm talking about, give him a kudos to him for me. Best actor in Cast A.

Die In was fun as usual. We had some newbies tonight, so as rule of thumb they had to lead the house which turned out to be funny. At this point I'm pretty much past the scare factor for this year's houses, but seeing others get scared is just as fun. They were playing "I Am the Man of Constant Sorrow" in the TCM dinner scene which I found to be quite awesome.

Screamhouse has added the infamous mirror scene back to the end of the maze. It's kind of a hasty job this time though, so the organ scene for the Caretaker is probably better in this particular case.

Bungle of Doom was bad as usual, but we know how to make it fun! We got the line to do the wave plus we had a good sized conga line to go through with doing crazy conga dances.

B&T had fill-ins for Saddam and Johnny Knoxville. Knoxville was not much of a main character, so that didn't matter. The fill in for Saddam wasn't as good as the main actor, but he still did a great job.

I got my picture with the Director by luck (yea!), got the glow shirt, and got a HHN 13 light up necklace. I won't be back until Friday which they are offering to FFP holders as an additional day to vist and then again on Sunday. I might make a last visit then on Wednesday or Thursday. Think I would have gone enough?

Friday, Oct. 24, was a particularly slow night for a scheduled peak. Nothing really off-center or interesting tonight. I met a guy from GA that has been to every HHN, so I visited the houses with him for the night. The only thing that really was different tonight was that Jason had a chainsaw and Leatherface had a knife. That was mindboggling, and I really didn't like the monster mix up but oh well! Going back this Sunday...

Thanks Rocketman!!!! We really appreciate you keeping us up to date on this. It sounds like you are making good use of your pass!:D
