Well just got back from HHN: Islands of Fear...and I have mixed feelings.

It's definitely different than I remember, not as scary to me, but definitely cool. It was awesome to see IOA set up for HHN. Unfortuantely the park was open from 7-12 which kinda puts a limit on what you can do.

PORT OF EVIL (Port of Entry):
Nothing too special here. Awesome fog effects and lighting. LLots of crazy insane like scareactors running around. Bodies hanging from nooses are set up, it's cool to watch them shake, and the new mascot dude (the white creepy guy) was welcoming people in, he was wearing stilts.

ISLAND UNDER SIEGE (Marvel Superhero Island):
Lots of cool fire effects throughout, fireballs shooting up in the air and stuff. Guys with chainsaws (of course), zombie like cops, and Marvel villains throughout. Lines for the Hulk were about 30 minutes and for Spider Man about 15.
Maximum Carnage:
We had a 60 minute wait at this one, and I'm still not sure if it was worth it, but it did give me a few good scares. I don't get scared to easily, but the girls I was with did. Neat set up, with dark lights, strobe lights and such. I didn't recognize too many villains, except for Carnage at the end. This was my number 2 scare house.

TREAKS AND FOONS (Toon Lagoon):
Nothing too scary here folks, just alot of foam and lazers. The foam was really fun to play with, but there are just a bunch of goofy looking clowns walking around. One of them talked some gibberish to me...
Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure:
Funny and clever spoof as usual. Bill and Ted don't have too much time in the show here. Dr. Evil steals the show, along with the lesbian portrayal of Velma from Scooby Doo. Cool cameos throughout.
Scary Tales 2:
UNFORTUNATELY...I chose to skip this one due to time, but remembering last year's it wasn't too special. The wait was 60 minutes for this one. I'll hit it when I come abck the 18th.

JP EXTINCTION (Jurassic Park):
Here we have some JP scientists who appear to have been attacked warning you of the dinos. MORE guys with chainsaws, creatures popping out from the trees, weird half human, half dinos walking around. Wait for JP River Adventure was only 5 minutes.
Fear Factor:
Two things to say about this. 60 minute wait and it sucked. It ranks dead last.
Project Evolution:
20 minute wait on here. It was pretty cool to walk outside, lots of fog and mist. Human/Dino people abound. Bloodied torn apart bodies are everywhere. Did provide some fun scares, but needed more scareactors. The most bizarre things I saw however was a caveman. That bothered me. This was my number 3 pick.

ISLAND OF LOST SOULS (Lost Continent):
More fireballs here and an amazing horned devil creature awaiting you at the gates. This was the best costume I saw in the park. Some demon like scareactors around here, and some people banging drums. And would you believe it...MORE people with chainsaws. Club 666 is the only special thing here, and I don't come to a theme park to dance.

BOO-VILLE (Seuss Landing):
Lots of purple lighting, fog, and strobe lights. Winded streets provide for good scares.
Scream House:
The BEST scare house here. Cool creepy dead people, good scares. My number one pick.

Well there you have it. I enjoyed myself greatly, but I miss classic movie monsters and creatures that you could find at US. There were too many people with chainsaws, and it just became predictable. No scareactors go on the attractions with you, and from what I saw no changes were made to the attractions. Hopefully by the time I go back on the 18th, the scares will be a little more fine tuned. All in all, great fun.

We went on Sat the 5th, have to say I agree with UniversalVic,
on the house ratings,
By 9pm all lines for the houses were 90-120 min or more,
Lots of guys with chainsaws,
was a good time but the scariest thing had to be all the people, way more than I want to deal with.got hard to move and the Bubbles were realy slipperyon the bridgebe carefull!
