Can the experts chime in here please?

This will be our very first foray into the world of HHN at US. We like to avoid weekends to minimize crowds. Was thinking Thursday, the 21st and we are planning to do a tour (not the VIP) since this is our first time and we want to see as much as we possibly can.

Since we are doing the tour, would it really matter if we went on Friday the 22nd? Are Fridays going to be way more crowded?

Does anyone know about how long the tour lasts? What about HHN hours?

Do we get a visit of all the houses and then the seating at Bill & Teds? Anything else? Rides?

We will do the US the same day, so since we will be on the tour, do we really need to be at the Stay & Scream area? Or are you required to meet somewhere when HHN opens for the evening?

I REALLY want to do JAWS at night!!! Are there just certain rides open during HHN? I am hoping EP won't be needed since we we doing the tour. Am I dilusional? One other thing, would you consider just doing HHN EP INSTEAD of doing the tour? Or is the tour totally worth it?

If we purchase the tour, is the HHN ticket included? Or do we need the park ticket, HHN ticket and then tour purchase?

Sorry if these have been asked a bazillion times! Haven't seen too much about guided tours. Thanks for your input!!!:scared1:

The HHN guided tour is a VIP tour and is called the RIP tour.

Here a link to a post explaining the two different RIP tours by our very own HHN expert, Macraven: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=36142008&postcount=13

The tours do not include the price of admission to HHNs, so you will need to purchase a HHN ticket. You only need the day ticket if you plan to visit the park during the day; so if you're just doing HHNs and will not be visiting the park in the day, you wouldn't need the day ticket.

Last year, Jaws, MIB, The Mummy and The Simpson's were the rides operating during HHN hours.

I've participated in the exclusive RIP tour with Mac for the past 2 years and hopefully I will again this coming October.

Thanks for the info...

I was able to pull up a lot under the search. Tried that before, must not of been trying the right "key words."

Hmm, I was convinced to do the non-private tour.

Now I am wondering since we are going on a Thursday, maybe just a Stay & Scream with an EP would be sufficient.

I'd be saving almost $500.

My HHN 4 day trip turned into a "we might at well go for a week" trip, and just decided to add an extra day to do WNW...now I am thinking about HOS at BG! I am obsessing and need to stop!

Need to think on this some more LOL!

I would imagine that Stay and Scream with EP on a Thursday would suffice. If that's the route you go, my additional advice is to not use your EP for the first few houses and save them for later. You should be able to hit three or four houses with minimal waits. Then, later in the night, you can revisit those house and use your EP at that time. Also, your EP is good for the first show of Bill and Ted's.

I REALLY want to do JAWS at night!!!

Jaws in the dark is a must do, it's so much better than during the day! It's also great fun doing jaws during HHN as the tour guides tend to have a bit more fun with their roles diverting from the script! :lmao:

:thumbsup2

Fingers crossed for me doing a few as well...:)

Hopefully?:confused3 It would'nt be the same without ya!!

As of now, the plan is that mom and I will be doing the RIP tour on that Friday with you all. However, we're trying to talk two of my sisters and their husbands into coming along. If that happens, my HHN posse will expand from 2 to 6, and I'm not sure if the other 4 would do the RIP tour.

Fingers crossed for me doing a few as well...:)

I hope that you can make this year's HHNs! I and the rest of the RIP guys missed you last year.
