One thing about being laid up is that you become a master TV watcher. I just got done watching a behind-the-scenes special on HHN on the Travel Channel. You really got to appreciate all the work and creativity that goes into a production like that. I taped it for my BF, but I'm not sure I'm going to let him watch it cuz it does look pretty scary, and I don't want him to chicken out. Big baby is scared of spiders!

Anyone else catch it?

Yes!!!! Wasn't it great? They do such a good job. I think I am going to go this year. We are staying on site on opening weekend and were going to skip, but after seeing the special we are contemplating it now!

WooHoo!!

And for those of us that found out to late... Like me... [cringe]

...It will be on again this Monday, October 6th at 9pm!

:jester:

I don't have cable, but I'm waiting for the tape to be sent to me! :)

Wow, you sent him a tape?
I did too.
Mine went out on Tuesday afternoon. I added some coasters shows from last year to the end of it.

Is 10/6 the soonest this is on again? Would love to catch it before we go to FL, in time to get tickets in advance-10/7!!!! Yipeee!

Saw it too. WOW!! It shows just how much work goes into these events. It would be fun to be a "Scareactor" and run around and scare people. That would be cool. Anywho, I have a new respect for the event now, and for the people who put it on.

Haha! Across the way, Disney has "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party," where Mickey is dressed as the scarecrow and pumpkins are evident and such.

At Universal, you can see people being operated on and screaming bloody murder while being worked on, see the FReakS, be chased be chainsaws, and meet the Director.

Hmm, who had the better idea? ::yes::

I got the tape today. Thanks! I have a friend who wanted a copy too.

Your welcome. Agree, watching the show will make you appreciate all the detail that goes into the mazes.

When we go on October 19th, I'll pay attention to everything more than I did last year.

I think it's gonna be funny when a scareator comes running up to us, and I'm sitting there with a straight face going, "Look at the detail in the water fall, wow."

Wish I could see this....can I pick up the travel channel on Sky? I could tape it.
