How many do you think that they will sell?
How early in the day are they available?
Can you buy one during the day for that night?

Hi,

You can wait until the day of the event, might sell-out, I guess it depends on the night. Or.... you can call 800-711-0080 and order it ahead of time. :p

Thanks for the info! I had already bought my HHN tickets and now i called and got the express pass for that night for an additonal $20 p/p. Cant wait and now even better no waiting in line! Thanks again.

I suggest to buy it before you get there. That way, you will be sure to have it.

I have been to the Halloween Horror nights twice, once the first year and then a second time a few years later. What I did not like was the fact it was SO crowded that you could not get into many of the "houses." Do these passes really work? What are the chances of paying this money so you don't have to go back a second night....the money averages about the same, but even if you go 2 nights, you still may not get in the houses.....I want to get down and see the MOST I can. Thanks.

Yes the passes really work. You skip the line leading into the house.
They also sell them in the stay and scream area just before the event.
If you really wanna see all the houses, meet us on the 19th (off peak night), plus we're buying the express passes, plus we'll get a jump on the crowd since we'll be in the park when it starts.

Thanks.....we're going earlier that week actually.....we are coordinating with someone working with Disney....but if they really work I'd be willing to buy them ahead of time to make sure I have for the right night.....its my husband's first time at HHN and I'm hoping for him to see the most!

The price for the booklets is $35 for peak nights/person. I just called and ordered. They will mail them to your house for $2. Seems like a lot, but from what I'm hearing if I'm going on a peak night I would be a fool not to get them.

I just called to order express booklets for 10/16 - a Thursday night - and was told they are $35.00 even for non-peak nights. Is this a mistake?

Are the express tickets necessary for off-peak nights? We're going on the 15th (Wednesday). It's our first time and we probably won't be back in October for a while. Do you think I should get the tickets or will we be alright?

I've never been so I don't know how the crowds are. But ---- when I called back about the express passes I was told that some non-peak night express passes are $20.00 and some are $35.00. For 10/16 when we are going the booklet is $35.00. I'm assuming that the further into the month you get the more crowded the park is - even on non-peak nights. I bought them because I want to make sure we see everything!!!!

I just purchased Non-Peak tickets for $15 (October 22). Saturday/Sunday tickets are $35/20, respectively.

can you give tix you don't want to others??

I do not plan on going into the psycho house... (mincemeat bodies I don't mind,, but a disgusting bathroom... yuck, I'll pass.)

can I give my tix to someone else? or do they need the booklet?

I see they are available online on the 28th- but not the 26th... so I assume that means it's sold out for that night?

Has anyone bought them online? And if so- does it tell you anywhere there how you get the tickets? Can you do it will call like I did the annual pass and HHN tickets? Because I'm leaving on the 23rd and I'm afraid to buy it online right now because what if it has to be mailed and doesn't arrive before I leave for my trip???

It shows $15 there- if they mail them, does it have a charge for mailing?

I wouldn't worry about it and just buy the express tickets on the 28th but for the fact that the 26th is obviously already sold out- so now I'm afraid that by the 28th- the tickets for 28th will be sold out.... I've already paid enough for the annual pass (that I just now realized wasn't necessary at all to only go to HHN) plus the frequent fear pass for HHN- to then go and not be able to do everything because of no express tickets is going to.... well..... bite! LOL

All you need is the pass. If you give the psycho scareapy ticket to someone, then they can use it with no problem.

There was a cart on the bridge between CityWalk and IOA selling the Express passes before last Sundays HHN...

As for giving away unused house passes...There was a man in the Hulk line asking Hulk trivia questions for his extra passes.

Don't count on that. Last night, Oct. 16, the attendant asked to see the booklet that our passes came out of. We had just been pulling them out and handing them to the attendant but at Scareapy and Jungle of Doom, they made us show them the booklets so they could see the date.

None of the individual passes in the booklet are dated, only the cover that the express passes come in. I suspect they were doing this as last night the Express Passes were $35 while the night before the passes for Oct. 15 were only $20. Technically, someone could buy Express passes the night before for cheaper and use them.

I even briefly thought about doing that. We went to the parks on Oct. 15 specifically for getting Express passes for the next night. We knew that Oct. 16 would probably sell out of Express passes early so we didn't want to chance not being able to get them when we went the next night. We went to guest services to buy them for the following night and were shocked to see that they were $35 on a non-peak night. She told me that it didn't matter if it was a peak or non-peak night, they based the price on the antcipated crowds for each night. Since Oct. 16 was almost a sellout, the prices for express were higher for that night.

We purchased them anyway and then went home and stewed. I wondered then if I should have just purchased the Express for Oct. 15 and just used them on Oct. 16. I was glad that my honesty paid off as we would not have been able to use them for two of the houses. No one asked to see the date on any of the other attractions or rides. Now I have some passes left over for Hulk and Dueling Dragons and am wondering if I'll even be able to use them on another date.

Bev

Edtied to add: We did give our passes away for One Fish, Cat in the Hat and Seuss Carrousel to a famly of 4. I hope they were able to use them.

D'oh. Some places are more strict with express than others. Those that are more strict are the ones who are actually doing their job right.
