HHN Entry Question

*Side note question* Didn't there used to be a HHN sticky thread in this forum, for all questions HHN?

I'm trying to understand this, I figured the HHN faithful would know for sure. If you have a park-to-park ticket and are in IoA after 5pm, if you have a HHN ticket, you can ride the Hogwarts Express over to Diagon Alley, correct? What if you have a single park IoA ticket, and a HHN ticket?

When you get to US, are you held there until 6:30, or shuffled to another holding area outside of DA?

I have an annual pass, but I have to buy a separate ticket for my daughter. I'm just trying to figure out the least expensive, and most time expedient, course of action here.

I'm not sure how the Hogwarts Express is going to work on HHN days. If you plan on spending the day in the parks with HHN to top it off, you are better off doing IOA first and then going over to USF. Then when the park closes at 5 for HHN prep, you can go to a designated stay and scream area and you will get early access to the houses and whatnot before the park opens to the public. If the Hogwarts Express is open after 5 pm, boarding at IOA may result in a forced round trip unless they will take HHN tickets too. But I'm not 100% sure, there is a lot of mystery involving Diagon Alley stuff this year with HHN.
