HHN...during the day...

We will be staying one night at PBH, Oct 29, and won't doing HHN. so are the crowds during the day, I have read some good remarks about it, but looking for some more feedback. I realize it is a sat, should I reschedule? Believe it or not, I really wasen't thinking of HHN when I booked, will I regret it? (i realize i got FOTL access)

You've got FOTL, so don't worry about it. Yes, Saturdays are always busier, but your FOTL will make it very bearable.

No, you won't regret it, crowds are light during the day in October and the weather is perfect. In the morning, it's practically a ghost town. Of coarse, a Saturday will be more busy than a week day, but you'll be fine. Sunday morning is good because the locals are going to church.
Around 4pm is when you'll "feel" a change take place as more people arrive and the park will begin to shut down. When HHN starts, the place is packed.
Who knows, you may change your mind and want to go to HHN. If you do go, get your ticket in advance and use the stay and scream area in USF so you can get a head start on the crowd.

My family went last year in October. The parks are practically empty in the morning. We arrived when the gates opened and my DH and DS were able to ride the Hulk 3-5 times in a row. There was a zero wait time for most all rides. The park did not start getting crowded till around 4. It is perfect weather too! Great for kids (like mine) who do not like having to wait for a ride. Patience is not one of their virtues

For me, the coolest thing about HHN, other than the houses, is walking across the bridge toward Port of Entry and seeing the lasers and fog drifting up from behind the gates. I loved it last year and CAN NOT wait until this year!
