HHN...Confused and have Q's!!

Hello!
I just booked my honeymoon to Disney and Universal for this September! One of the days we are at Universal we would like to do the HHN. We've booked through a travel agent, and when asking about adding the HHN to our ticket purchase at a cheaper rate, she said I couldn't do that. I think she even called a number for Universal and asked them..

So I'm really confused!! I read the below paragraph that was posted on this site:


Add-on options: Guests who already have tickets to Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure may add Halloween Horror Nights admission at a discounted rate.
Saturday add-on: $66.99 per person (plus tax)
Friday add-on: $51.99 per person (plus tax)
Sunday through Thursday add-on: $36.99 per person (plus tax)


So am I misunderstanding something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You can add the HHN tickets at the Stay & Scream discount as long as you have the tickets in hand...or at least the ticket numbers. You can add the tickets on at any time after you have the actual tickets but not before. You could wait until you arrive and buy them at either park...you will still get the discounted rate.

Ok! Thank you! That makes a little more sense..I just worry because I think the travel agent selected the 'print at home' option for our regular Universal tickets, which she said would have a bar-code I'd have to scan when I get outside the park before I receive the actual ticket...So does that mean I won't have access to the discount until I get down there that day?!

Print at home tickets (sheets of paper) are your actual park tickets...you do not trade them in. If you have the tickets printed already, you should have the bar code needed for ticket verification. If your TA told you electronic pickup, you would go to the Will Call kiosk and using the confirmation # and credit card they were purchased with, you would print out your theme park tickets right there. You might want to ask again and make sure you know which option you have.
