My sister's DH got 4 comp tickets for HHN and wants me to try to sell 3 of mine as we only need 6 total. I don't want to sell and then find out they aren't valid. On the back they say 'non- dated'. He got them from the local pepsi distributor who frequently gets him tickets to many events. What do you think? Would these be safe to count on using?

TIA

I've never heard of anyone getting comp tickets to HHN... ever. Also if they are vaild and you sell them and get caught you can(and will) have charges put against you and be taken to court, I've seen it happen.

These say HHN on them and look just like mine. I certainly wouldn't sell these free ones, but I have 5 which I purchased online and I could sell a couple of those. They have been given normal tickets to Universal several times and also to HHN in the past as well as Busch events.

Well, if they are comp tickets and they say it on the back, you cannot sell them. But, if you want to sell tickets that you bought for HHN, they maybe try Ebay, or if you are in Orlando, there are ticket booths all over the place that buy tickets.

Whatever you do, just don't sell the comp tickets.

T-10X, there are HHN comp tickets but employees don't get them. Some are given with the new promotion where you buy an annual pass online and get a free HHN pass. Others are given for different reasons.

Be sure and look at your comp tickets. Even though they are not dated some say for non-peak nights only (Sunday-Thursday.)

even the employees at universal don't get those type of tickets for hhn.

they can get two tickets for hhn by signing up for them.
the employee can take one guest with them on these special tickets but the employee has to go thru the gate and sign for it.

if the employee sells them , they will be terminated from their job.

i wouldn't even try to sell those special tickets you received. there was a big write up in the paper when i was in orlando on how tickets had been stolen and it affected disney and universal...............the stolen tickets were for those two parks.

The employee HHN tickets were only for employee preview night. they could bring one guest. Those HHN comps clearly state on the ticket that it is only for employe preview night. The employees don't get regular non-dated HHN comp tickets.

There are HHN comp tickets but most are from the AP purchase and a few are for guest issues such as reimbursements, etc.

It is true that if an employee gets a comp ticket and the ticket is sold by any party, the employee will be terminated. I think the original poster of this thread just wanted to sell her purchased tickets and use the comps for herself.

coming back to correct my statement once i read phamtoms post.

yes, i should have said that the employee preview night was the one i was referring to.

i can't imagine a pepsi distributor receiving 5 comp tickets for hhn... i do believe the op that said it, but am taken back that one person can obtain so many free tickets.

i always buy mine the day they go on sale and figure if i have the money to travel and make the trip, i can buy the tickets. we all like to save money and find a deal so i don't blame you there op.
for me, i just buy mine up front and live with it.

i have no idea if selling the comp tickets is legal or not.
maybe you could call universal ticket sales and ask them. they do have a toll free number. you don't have to give your name.

These are from the local 'all fl' Pepsi dist that is a sponsor. They frequently get Daytona 500 tics, all theme park tics, Magic Bucc & Dolphin tics. My BIL runs a large corp in FL that deals with this dist all the time and they get comp thru them frequently as perks.

The tickets look just like the ones I bought. Say Halloween Horror Nights XV, have the "no costumes/masks" blurb and where mine say 10/30/2005 these say Non-Dated. I'm assuming they would be ok to use. We need a total of 6 tics and with these 4 we now have 9 - 5 I bought online and had delivered to me in NM. If I can recoup a little of the money on 3 of my 5 that would be good.

i wanna work for pepsi.........................

I believe we sell chips made my Pepsico, which is why a Pepsi worker would get them.

This is not a Pepsi worker but the head of all Pepsi in FL

I am sure the comp tickets are legit. There are lots of companies and individuals that get comps, even HHN comps. The comp tickets are illegal to sell though, so make sure you use them and only sell the HHN tickets that you purchased. You can probably get a refund on your purchased HHN tickets. Just take them to guest services and explain the situation.

Thanks, Phantom!

We're flying in from NM just to go and my kids would KILL me if I relied on the comp tickets and they sold out.

Trying to refund is a great idea.

Maybe we'll see you there! But not know it!
