Hi everyone, I am planning on travelling down to Florida at the end of Sept for a few days and would like to visit HHN. I see that it starts Sept 25 we were looking on going on Thursdy Oct 1st.
does it usually get pretty busy at the begnning or the end of the month?

any info would be great!

It's usually not too bad in the beginning of the event but by the middle of the month, the crowds will definately be there. You should be OK on the date you want to go...just make sure you can do Stay & Scream so you can get a head start on the houses.

Similar question, how busy do you reckon it will be on Thurs 15th October?

Chris

since they are using Oct 1st, a thursday, so early in the season, i doubt it will have large crowds. it will only be the 3rd night of hhn at that point.

they still have kinks to work out in the first week of hhn so i don't see that thursday being too crowded.

many times throughout the hhn season, things change in order to make the event better. scripts for bill and ted's could be different at the end of the season than the first 3 nights of it. houses can have changes made also.

for the question of will thursday the 15th be crowded?
my guess is it will have more crowds than the thursdays prior.

people that buy the FFP and are local tend to go more on the non peak nights.
maybe not stay for the entire evening as the next day is a work day, but stay long enough to enjoy what they came to see.

what i say is my opinion only. i can only share my experiences from the hhn's i have attended. i attend for 4 nights in a row during the 3rd week, then read about the rest of the month of hhn once i return home.

i base it on going the 3rd week of the event for the last 6 years during that time period. this year will be my 10th hhn.

i have no way of predicting the crowd levels for this year.
i do feel that sundays have started not to be the lower crowd night as it once was once the middle of the month hits.

i enjoy the thursday night hhn event.
it seems like lower crowds for the ones i have attended.

buy the epp and do the stay and scream holding area.
you will get a lot done that way.
better to be safe than sorry.

I think you'll do well going earlier in the month. My advice, if you're not doing the S&C, GET THERE EARLY! Get in line at least an hour before the scheduled opening time (they usually open the gates early, anyway) and make a bee line for whichever house you choose, and then keep going. You can usually do 4-5 houses rather quickly before the park has a chance to fill up, and you're ahead of the game from there on.
