HHn and Hogwarts Express

On HHN nights I see US closes at 5 pm while IOA is open later. Does that mean Hogwarts Express stops running at 5 pm?

We were at Hogsmeade trying to get on the train to go back to Diagon Alley a little before 5 and could not. There were workers there directing us to exit out the front of IOA.
