We are going to HHN and my DH has this at the top of his to do list. He saw the video and now he doesn't care what we do at HHN, as long as we get to see this.

I guess I should have figured this and now regret showing him the video. He used to work at a haunted house and he was the freak that chased you through the maze with the chainsaw. He even proposed to me at the haunted house with the chainsaw in his hands.

So I guess I need to "feed" his obsession.

Any one now if they are doing this again this year? If so, where and when?

I thank you and I am sure that my DH will thank you as well!

Just listen for them. The Chainsaw Gang is one of the most well known HHN items. It wouldn't be HHn without them. Expect them in EVERY scare zone, plus in many haunted houses.

You should have no problem finding chainsaws at HHN. IMO, they overuse that prop to the point it isn't really as effective as it can be.

^^^^^^^

Agreed. Over the past few years the Chainsaw Gang has become WAAAAAAAAAAY too big. Instead of finding a few of them scattered in each scare zone, you can now find an excessive amount in each scare zone.

Having watched them practice...it's going to look a LOT different this go round.

That is, bar none, the greatest proposal story I have EVER heard! He's definitely a keeper :thumbsup2

Chainsaws are in the Jaws, Fear Factor, MIB, and Back to the Future area this year not all over the park. There were a couple as far as the Animal Actors area. Of course, that could change but as of right now, that is where they are located.

Phamton,

Thanks for the specific locations. I'm sure he will make a beeline towards whatever area he hears one coming from. Do they do anything in the opening scaremonies with them? He really liked the video he saw in the HHN archives of a whole group of them marching out in military fashion and then going "hog wild" as he said.

MartDM, as for the unique proposal, it was definitely that since he did it in front of about 500 people. Now I laugh and ask how could I have possibly said no to him when he was holding a chainsaw? He made sure that I would say YES ;) But at least he put it down to take the ring box out

We saw the brigade last night in front of Louie's. They looked good.
