HHN Advertisements and Day decorations

We are going to Orlando this Friday and have been thinking about visiting Universal this Saturday. We will definitely NOT be visiting HHN, but are there scary things out during the day? Are there scary HHN billboards or signs? I really want to go to Universal but my kids are scaredy cats. Lastly any ideas about the crowds would be appreciated.

There's only a few mild HHN decorations out during the day. The scary stuff gets brought out during the delay between daytime closing and re-opening for HHN.
