HHN add on ticket question

I've been planning on buying an HHN add on ticket to use for 10/25 which is our arrival day. Our first park day on our day tickets is not until the next day, 10/26. Do I need to "activate" anything by using our day tickets before the HHN add-on ticket? Or will we be ok if we use the HHN ticket first? Thanks!

no problem using the hhn first.
it is not connected to your day ticket.

do get in the line outside the gates early.
without a day ticket for the date you are doing hhn, you'll have to wait with the mass of others.

but, if you are staying onsite at the deluxe hotels, you can use the restricted entrance to enter the park at 6:00.
if the holding areas haven't been released yet, you will be escorted to one of them to wait until those in the park are allowed to start going thru the houses.

don't know if Cbay is included for the hotel guests entry for hhn.
that far right hand entrance is open from 6 to 8 on hhn nights.

Do I just need my room key for this entrance? I plan on only taking key and ticket since they've gotten so hard core on RRR.
