HHN 2014......What Are Your Dates

We're still debating this, as my daughter is 11 and swears she can take it, but I'm not so sure. If I give this the green light, we'll be there October 9th.

this is a hard decision for you as you won't know until you are there if she is up to the scare factor.

have her watch a couple of the michael myers movies and see how she reacts.
has she watched any of the halloween movies before?

if they don't faze her, then it would be a go.
you have plenty of time to buy the HHN tickets.

Flying into MCO on 9/20 and doing HHN24 after as soon as I arrive and check-in to Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Also going to MNSSHP on the 23rd. First time staying at USO and attending both events.

Oct 22-27

Was also going to be Sept 26-29 but we now have a scheduled band performance on that Friday (my 8th grader). So will have to pick another Oct weekend to add.

Next year when my son's in marching band scheduling HHN is going to be very difficult.

i was wondering when you were going to post.
you usually are an early bird for this.

putting you down for those 5 nights in october.
if you add more, wonderful...!

Mac,

Please update and change my HHN dates from October 2nd through the 5th to October 3, 4, and 5.

I will be over at Busch Gardens for Howl-o-Scream on the 2nd of October...
"it's always better to see twice the amount of houses in one trip," I say..... :goodvibes

Cheers!

We will be there September 25 - 28 with ROF passes...can't wait...is it September yet?

So it seems I have been remiss... and on Mac's thread no less.

My wife Dora and I will be there every Sunday event night, staying on-site.

We start the evenings at Finns and will have express. We're not really the tour type.

I'll be the long haired fellow with the Sam Adams and very patient wife. We had a great time hanging out with the Dis crew last year and look forward to doing so again... and I owe Marco some beer ;)

So of course I screwed up purchasing our AP's...chose the Will Call option because I didn't want to have them delivered and risk leaving them home. Anyway, I can't purchase tickets now for HHN at the AP rate without the PIN and ID number...which I won't get until I pick them up the day we arrive in Orlando. I called Universal and there is nothing they can do for me, which is fair enough, and she assured me they never sell out on Wednesdays, so I should have no problem getting tickets for the 15th when I arrive at Universal on the 14th.

Can I trust her? lol and also, how likely is it that Express Pass would still be available for purchase, one day in advance? Thank you all!

Only been looking forward to it... all year. Next week I turn old then it's all guns forward. Every Friday at Howl O Scream then Sundays at HHN. One will be the best Sunday though. :snooty:

I'll be at HoS on Thursday Oct 2nd... loving HoS more and more as the years go by...

oct 5th can't come soon enough............

Indeed... I actually changed my travel dates (started last year) just so I could meet up with mac (even if it is only for one event night)! Once again, this year, Oct 5th will actually be my last day before returning home.... but still psyched about THAT day and seeing all you guys!

Cheers!

Marco... are you doing Fright Feast at HOS? Only way to fly. We live ten minutes from Busch Gardens. We get Recurring Nightmare passes there every year. You going there with a group?

We love it there... especially in recent years. Both events are fantastic but no scareactor has ever followed my wife through three rooms at Horror Nights. If you need details on Fright Feast PM me. I'll send you my e-mail.

Really thrilled about the 5th and the cadre getting together. VERY glad you changed your dates. Had a fantastic time last year... the parts I remember :)

You live ten minutes from BGT, wow!:woohoo:

I'll be going by myself (again).... it will be the third consecutive HoS event for me. I am certainly doing Fright Feast... and did as well in 2012 and last year! It sure is the way to go!
I was the first through Zombie Mortuary these last two years.. I love that house! I would leave Fiends 5 minutes before the show is over and enter Zombie Mortuary at 7 sharp. Did all houses about 6 times each back in 2012!!
I haven't made my hotel ressies or purchased my tix for the HoS part of my trip yet but I should be flying in straight to Tampa on the evening of Wednesday 1st of Oct, renting a car, staying two nights at hotel, attending HoS on Thursday Oct 2nd and then driving to Orlando for HHN for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th (staying at Cabana Bay)!
Worst case scenario, arrive on the 2nd, but at MCO, rent car, drive to Tampa for the event, and drive back to Orlando the next morning (that's why I haven't purchased tix/hotel yet).

Will you be there on the 2nd for the event...?

Any chance you and Dora could make it?? :goodvibes

Looking forward to the 5th at HHN as well, had a great time last year!

Cheers!

I replied to your PM, but I gotta say I'm impressed man. You tour that event EXACTLY like my wife and I.

Actually, you should use a smaller font when talking about it.

"They" are all going to figure it out. ;)

Pax

P.S. Man this is shaping up to be a great year.
