HHI - What To Bring For The Pool?

We are staying 2 nights at HHI following our WDW trip this fall. I have read on here I can bring pool noodles but nothing else to the pool at the BC. What is the policy at HHI? Can we bring pool noodles there as well? What about flippers at HHI? I am assuming no but I have an 8 yr old begging and would never live it down if I said no and another child had some Thanks!

I don't recall any rules at HHI pool, it is a relatively small pool, no slide, etc....I don't think there were any life guards on duty when we were there (it wasn't peak times, but still swimming season). With the beach right there, I am sure flippers would be able to be used somewhere...LOL

Hi -There are 2 pools. The one at the resort has a fun slide and a baby pool
The other at the Beach House doesn't have a slide. Kids can play with noodles and pools toys. Flippers shouldn't be a problem. We love the resort and the beach so much that we bought 200 points there.

Do they have free life vest rental at HHI like they do at the other DVCs? We are always able to "check out" life vests when in WDW staying at a DVC resort. Wondering if they do that at HHI too? DS2 doesn't swim and DS6 isn't a strong swimmer yet either.

There is a small shed at the main pool with lifevests of every size. You just help yourself. They have life vests at the beach club pool too.

We spent more time at the Beach House pool than at the resort pool. We had our noodles with us at the Beach House because we used them in the ocean but we did not take them to the main pool. I didn't see any fins at the pools but there were people with snorkel masks. I doubt they would care if you decided to bring them. HHI doesn't seem like a snorkeling sort of destination as the ocean water is pretty murky so I don't know what the masks were for. They also provided about 3 volley balls for playing volley ball over the net that divides the pool.
