We're headed to HHI soon (2BR) and don't have a request for a view. I'm guessing it doesn't matter as much there. Any suggestions?

I really can not recall what view if any we had. It is on an island off of the main Hilton Head Island and connected by a very small bridge. So one side will have a view of the habour and boats. I guess the back side would have a view of the march area. Pool is in the center of the resort if I recall, so there may be pool view.

I do know that there is no such thing as an ocean view. Ocean is on the other side of the island where the beach house is located.
What I recall most were the very large trees, so there only be views obstructed by the trees. Sorry I could not be more help.

Here is a link to the resort map for HH. Last year I requested non smoking, upper floor pool view. We received non smoking, pool view, first floor. The first floors are actually raised up off of the ground because of the marsh. There are marsh views from the Live Oak Lodge and Bldgs. 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, 24, 27. 29, 30 and 31. Bldgs. with pool views are 23, 25 and 26 and the remainder have interior views which are woodsy and beautiful. There truly isn't a bad building at HH.

Have fun planning!

We have been many times, but the best view was in building 31. It is the last building right at the mouth of the marina. From our porch (2bdroom) we watched dolphins each morning and kayakers interacting with them;we watch the fishing boats and private yachts enter and exit. If you go in July, you will have a front row seat to the tuesday night fireworks whcih are set off from a barge right behind the building.

All views are good. A correction on theTuesday night fireworks though. The barge was moved further north in the marsh, so the best view is now from right behind the main lodge building. They moved them last summer for safety concerns. The barge sets a little further from the shoreline now.
