HHI--Tell me more!

Memories of several trips to HHI:
Everyone in the family had great fun on the pool slide
Playing volleyball at the Beach House Pool
Goofy Bingo
Campfire
Lounging in Hammocks
Biking to the beach and on the beach and bike paths
Eating breakfast and playing games on the porch of
the 2 bedroom villa overlooking the marsh
Seeing fireworks at Shelter Cove Marina (summertime)

FYI--We have stayed at the Marriott Grand Ocean which is right on the beach in HHI, but prefer DVC HHI because it is a smaller resort and has the pool slide.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their opinions and family memories of HHI. It sounds exactly how I pictured it! I am so happy to hear that it is a quiet resort.

Although I LOVE WDW it seems that at times with all the "hustle and bustle" of the crowds, rides, spliting up to get FP or meals, taking kids to the bathroom, rushing to get out in the morning, rushing to catch a bus, it seems like we don't get enough quiet family time. It would be nice to have HHI to throw in the mix every other year or so to really have that "lazy" vacation. It also sounds as if my DS could learn a thing of two while on vacation! The pictures look great and I can't wait to visit.
