Hi everyone. I have a quick question. I was looking online at the Hilton Head room prices. For us it would be cheaper to pay out of pocket for the room then use points we don't really have. I was just wondering if and what kind of room discount we get as dvc members. I know we get a certain percentage off the florida resorts, but I'm not sure if the same applies for HHI and Vero Beach. TIA for the help :).

You can get 25% off the rack rate, subject to availability. For weekends, I believe you are better off paying cash at HHI that using points.

Thank you so much for your response! I was planning on a weekend night so paying OP works better.

In July, with discount, we usually pay $398ish for a 2 bedroom. This year, we are going in May and are paying $199.00 for a 2 bedroom. My friends are going with us and rack rate was $280ish for them.

Love HHI!!

I understand your situation-you must be going off season. A 1 BR in November costs about $125/night, making it just as well to pay cash, rather than use our points. An added plus is that, on two occcassions, we've been able to reserve rooms in member's cash when the resort was sold out on points.

Ditto - 25 percent off Member Discount is what we're getting in March. The AAA rate was the same as the Member Discount, too.
